Mutsvangwa expelled from Parliament

War veterans leader Christopher Mutsvangwa has been stripped of his Norton parliamentary seat.
Mutsvangwa was formally recalled from parliament this Tuesday with the presiding speaker, William Mutomba notifying the house.
This was after his former party Zanu-PF expelled him recently.
The party wrote to parliament instructing it to eject him.
Acting Speaker of the National Assembly William Mutomba made the announcement this afternoon.
This means a by-election would soon be called to fill the seat.
Section 129 of the constitution of Zimbabwe states that a National Assembly member's seat falls vacant if the member ceases to belong to the political party which he or she was a member of when elected to the house.
