Zimbabweans living and working in the Diaspora have been urged to support developmental projects in their communities.
In an interview, founder of Global Hand of Hope International Linda Satimburwa said it is important for people living in the Diaspora to work with government and their communities to fight poverty.
Linda, who works in the United Kingdom as a nurse said her organisation will partner government by launching the rural maternity initiative programme to help women with reproductive issues.
She added that her organisation initiated various programmes in Honde Valley, Manicaland, including assisting underprivileged children and supporting self-help projects.
The organisation also paid fees for more than 400 less-privileged students and sourced books, sport kits among other materials.
