Aspiring Zanu PF MP forces villagers to contribute 50 cents each to the party

Gutu ward 6's Zanu PF aspiring legislator for 2018 election Mutonhori Rwodzi is repported to have instructed Village heads to collect $0.50 cents from community members as contribution to the Zanu PF annual conference to be held in Masvingo in December 2016.

Heal Zimbabwe Trust reported that village heads who were instructed to collect the money include Mundeyiri, Mashingaidze, Manyanike, Bako, Chikerema, Muchenjekwa and Zemudzo.

"On 20 October 2016, he held a social gathering aimed at introducing himself to the community at Wuzhe Business centre. At the meeting, he told the gathering that all those refusing to pay the money, will have their names removed from the food aid beneficiaries lists," said the trust.
