A man from Hwange is in trouble after he allegedly stabbed a drinking mate with a knife for pouring beer on the ground.
Msindisi Lawrence Sibanda (18) was not asked to plead to assault charge when he appeared before Hwange magistrate Rosemary Dube. The matter was remanded to November 11.
The court heard that the complainant in the matter is Remmington Mwembe employed at The More You Go Deeper, the More You Benefit Gold Mining Company as a miner. On January 1 2016 at Korokoza Bottle Store the complainant saw his sister drinking and he took it and poured it to the ground.
Sibanda became angry since he was the one who bought it and he pulled out a knife and stabbed Mwembe on the back. A report made to the police led to his arrest.
