'Police ignore axe attacks in Esigodini'

Over ten people have reportedly been robbed and attacked with axes and stones in Esigodini in the past two weeks.
Villagers are accusing gold panners in the area.
A source who showed Bulawayo24.com graphic images of a man who was axed last Thursday, said the attacks have been going on for a while now and claimed that the police are not doing anything about it.
The image shows a man bleeding profusely after he was struck with an axe on the forehead being attended to by a nurse.
The villager blamed police for not patrolling the area.
