Spirit Embassy church founder and leader Prophet Uebert Angel is this week expected to launch an online Bible school. The school, known as the Osborne Institute of Theology, will be launched in Harare on Thursday.
Speaking at a Spirit Embassy meeting last week, Prophet Angel disclosed that he will work with United Family International Church (UFIC) leader Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa and other regional pastors on the project.
"I will reveal the official website of Osborne Institute of Theology next Thursday and give you information on how to apply and everything else. The school will give lessons on the way born-again Christians are expected to live and behave. As born-again Christians, it is vital for us to operate on levels that separate us from the standards of the world. This is why we have come together to form an online theology set of tutorials to equip Christians with vital lessons on how to carry themselves around in line with God's Word," he said.
Prophet Angel said all interaction between students and tutors will take place via the internet. He said the number of students for the first intake will be limited.
"There will be no need to come to school; all tutorials will be handled online. All assignments will be given, handed in and delivered via email. Our first intake will have limited places as we are only beginning. However, everyone will have an opportunity to hear what will be taught online because I will be sharing some of the material during our Thursday services from now onwards."
