Apostolic churches in Zimbabwe, whose members gave Zanu PF huge votes last year's elections face a ban as they pose health risks.
Apostolic grouping normally conduct their sessions in open spaces with little sanitary facilities.
According to ZBC, The Apostolic Christian Council of Zimbabwe has urged its members to erect proper infrastructure or risk being banned from conducting church services in their respective areas.
The directive came at a meeting between the ACCZ executive members and their affiliate churches in the capital.
Addressing the gathering, ACCZ President, Bishop Johannes Ndanga, said churches must comply with the directive to ensure that they are not banned from operating at open spaces.
Representatives of church denominations agreed with the move saying failure to put ablution facilities will expose congregates to various diseases.
The meeting was convened to ensure that church organisations speak with one voice towards implementing some of the proposed initiatives.
According to sources, indigenous churches were threatened with a ban from other Pentecostal churches if they fail to make their submissions by the 15th of January.
