"Evil prospers when good men do nothing"

The Ebola Virus has killed over 3 000 people in Africa, especially in West Africa, and have left more than 5 000 children orphaned.

Information is available that Ebola patients have been detected in other parts of Africa, Europe and the rest of the world too. In Zimbabwe, rumours of people being infected and some dying have also been doing the rounds.

With Zimbabwe having more than 2 million of its citizens in the Diaspora, including South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Congo, Nigeria, Liberia, Sierra Leone and others, the country is not spared from having an Ebola attack.

Realizing the power of prayer and the authority Christians have, we are calling on all Christians from Zimbabwe and the world to come together and pray for the end of the continued spread of the Ebola Virus.

We therefore encourage:
1. Every family may use its prayer time in the morning or the evening to pray for the end of spread of Ebola;

2. Every church uses its services to pray for the end of the Ebola virus;

3. That every Wednesday Christians all over the world join the Ebola Fast where we fast and ask God to end the spread of the Ebola virus;

4. Every church, school, organization or institution to educate its members on the basic ways of avoiding Ebola infection.

The time to act Brethren is now and let us not wait until the entire continent of Africa is wiped out.

Prayer Verses: Jonah 2 V 2; Psalms 17 v 6; Psalms 18 v 6 and Psalms 118 v 5
