On Saturday October 31 Christ Deliverance Ministries International had an incredible day long celebration to mark their day 7 years anniversary with a service of praise, worship and fellowship.

The celebrations marked a milestone in the life of the church with invited guests Pastor Vusumuzi Mazolo Khumalo from Life Giving Centre, Apostle Shadreck Mberengwa from World Worshipping Centre and Pastor Conquerer Nyoni from Divine Kingdom Ministries in attendance.

For seven years, God has been gracious to Christ Deliverance Ministries International. We believe that God has blessed us so we can be a blessing to others in need in our community and across the globe was a statement constantly echoed. The vision for the ministry is to preach the true gospel of God to all races, tribes and colours, emphasizing on love, divine healing of all sicknessness, deliverance, restoration, forgiveness, acceptance and true repentance.

"God has done so much in people's live over the course of the past seven years at Christ Deliverance Ministries International", said one member of the church.

Christ Deliverance Ministries International founder Pastor Chazani Nyoni stresses a point

It is without doubt that under the founding Pastor Chazani Nyoni's leadership, Christ Deliverance Ministries International has had a profound impact around the christian community. Invited guest Apostle Shadreck Mberengwa acknowledged Pastor Nyoni's passion to see Christ glorified in the body of believers here in Bulawayo with ripple effect to the ends of the earth, and i believe we are seeing that happen.

"I have never witnessed such deliverance in my life", said Apostle Mberengwa.

Attendants also hailed words of appreciation at the great work of Christ Deliverance Ministries International. Not only are they committed to community outreach but they are willing to do the deliverance work at no charge.

Pastor Nyoni couldn't agree more that from humble beginnings in Sizinda, Christ Deliverance Ministries has become a well established ministry encompassing various attributes of the true christian'spirit to succeed against all odds.

"When a child grows from one stage to another, say from childhood to adolescence they are physical features which we begin to see, things that are really tangible. In like manner i believe as a ministry we have graduated to another stage where physical features of growth must become visible", said Nyoni during an interview.

The celebration ended with a word from Pastor Vusumuzi Mazolo Khumalo. Throughout scripture it has been noted that the prophets of Ancient Israel tended to cry out during times of economic problems and this seems to make sense as there was more for them to say.

Likewise Pastor Mazolo Khumalo lamented the death of the city. Khumalo retold the plans the city forefathers and other generals had in mind. He also cited that Mayesiphambili drive was named as a symbolism of progress.

"Masiyephambili is the longest road in Bulawayo, it rounds off Bulawayo. They called the road Masiyephambili because they had progress in mind", said Khumalo.

This city was a city of refuge.Around 1800s Bulawayo was set to become the best city in the continent of Africa as it became one of the first industrial cities. Sizinda and Makokoba were built to accomodate people who came from as far as Malawi to work for the Railways. Bulawayo is the city for the nations.

"We need that spirit of progress in this city and i release that spirit in this church. May you rise as giants in Bulawayo, may Christ Deliverance be known in the City of Bulawayo. May you be known in every corner of the city in the name of Jesus. May it be known that you are from the City of Kings", declared Khumalo.

He also released an industrial spirit over the church. "You are going to have generals in this place", said Khumalo as he continued with a spiritual instruction for the congregation.

The world will soon come to this church for solutions. "I see nations coming", he concluded.
