General Chiwenga: They are crying because they say they are hungry; Gushungo; they do not have Zimbabwean-maize-meal to make sadza and eat; no maize-gwadla. The citizens are hungry Gushungo; hakuna hupfu Gushungo.

President Mugabe: If they are hungry and they do not have maize meal to make sadza and eat why can't they then Indian-rice, Irish-and-sweet potatoes to alleviate hunger? Ini ne mukadzi wangu Grace nana Chatunga tese tinodya Indian -rice nema  Irish potatoes iwayo mazuva ese wani? Tell them to do the same.
