QN."There is no difference between Israel false prophets with Zimbabwean prophets".Justify the statement? (25) -pt 13

- The above question requires one to have deep knowledge about the characteristics of Israel false prophets.In other words one should be able to answer the following fundamental questions pertaining Israel false prophets.
- What are the characteristics of a false prophet?
- How Israel false prophets behaved?
- Who was the source of their messages?
- Were they popular In Israel?
- Is the allegation true ?
- Does this mean that in Zimbabwe we don't have true prophets?
- The following article seeks to answer the above fundamental questions and justifying the above statement. The above fundamental questions will be fully hammered below
ANSWERS
- The view that there is no difference between Israel false prophets with Zimbabwean prophets is very controversial.In other words this means that the statement must be treated with a grain of salt .As far as Zimbabwean prophets are concerned one will understand that their actions differ with Israel false prophets.
- For instance Zimbabwe prophets have gift of foretelling future events ,this is true specifically to Madzibaba Wimbo in 1957, prophesied that in 1980 Zimbabwe will be led by the leader with name of an angel "Gabriel".Prophecy was fulfilled in 1980 when Robert Gabriel with name of an angel became the president. Prophecies which come to pass is a characteristics of a true prophet .(Due 18:22)
- Zimbabwean prophets claim to have experienced calls ,Johane Masowe claim to have seen vision of burning bush in Mt Marimba,Uebert Angel claim to have been visited by 50 angels.Call is a characteristic of a true prophet ,this further indicated that Yahweh is the source as it was prophesied by Moses in the Old Testament that all prophets were to be chosen by Yahweh Due 18:15-18 will justify.
- No well known prophet in Zimbabwe charges for the service ,one will understand that the church members pay token of appreciation as Ancient times was done. (1 Kings 14:1,1Sam 9:7-9).In other words this disqualify the view that Zimbabwean prophets resemble Israel false prophets,since Israel false prophets were known of charging ,Micah 3:5
HOWEVER PART
©As much as less Zimbabwean prophets don't resemble Israel false prophets,it will be miscarriage of justice to ignore the other side of the coin which suggest that there are some Zimbabwean prophets which greatly resemble Israel false prophets. This include the following.
- The Old Testament indicate that any prophesies which don't come to pass, the same prophet is a false prophet.This is supported by Due 18:22.In Zimbabwean context,it is recorded that prophesies of different prophets in Zimbabwe failed to come to pass.Bulawayo well known prophet Blessing Chiza has been recorded by media as his prophecies failed to come to pass.
-In 2014 prophesied that Zimbabwe soccer team was going to beat Libya as a result the team lost 3-2 in penalties.
-In 2016 January prophesied that Zimbabwe Cricket was going to surprise the world as it will beat best teams,As a result Zimbabwe was knocked In the group stages before making it to the qualifying round. ~Elements of being a false prophet can be noticed.
©Immoral was one of the character of false prophets in Israel.Ezekiel the son of man explain much in his book Ezekiel 13:1,Jeremiah the weeping prophet explain about the false prophet in Jeremiah 23.In Zimbabwe context media has recorded number of prophets who are immoral,for instance
-Godfrey Nzira was convicted of rape charges
-Eubert Angel have been involved in fraud case over the property(car) of N.Shava .
-Bulawayo24.com in 2015 recorded the prophet from Zviratidzo Zvevapostori who raped church member as a way of cleansing.
- The above prophets can be regarded as false prophets because of their actions which are inline with Israel false prophets, hence, this justify the view that there is no difference between Israel false prophets with Zimbabwean prophets.
©Micah the rural prophet in his book Micah 3:5 show us that Israel false prophets were paid for their service. In Zimbabwean context local newspapers has recorded number of prophets who charge for their services. We know them, hence ,I won't waste much time In repeating the already known incident.
