Circus Marriage: You can do better Morgan

This world never ceases to amaze me, so at one time we heard that Morgan Tsvangirai is planning to sue over the story of his "marriage" to Locadia Tembo. Now he issues a statement that he is "divorcing" his new wife. He says his good intentions were hijacked by external forces. I must say I saw this one coming. Mr. Boycott or rather Mr. Flip flop is at it again. I am not surprised by the clownish behavior of his team and/or himself. To think that this man who is fast gaining a reputation of bed hopping want to be our president! God forbid! With the team that Tsvangirai has who need enemies?

I always expected the PM to act like a clown but to play with the heart of an innocent woman like Locadia is just wicked. He broke the record 12 days and divorcing. He is now in the same league as Britney Spears and other Hollywood stars for having shortest marriage. People, we are never fooled by the behavior of Tsvangirai because we know he is a master in flip flopping but this time around he has taken it too far. Oh oh, I feel sorry for his spokesman Luke Tamborinyoka. After denying that the PM had married and now the PM has come out in the open and admitted that he had indeed sent a delegation to the Tembo homestead. Now I am wondering, is Mandela now 12 years old or maybe Jonathan is now a white man. We will never believe a word that will ever come out of your mouth Mr. Luke! It serves you better Mr. Spokesman next time don't just be a spin doctor without facts!

Basing on what we are told we can conclude that Tsvangirai just paid "damages" or as according to Ruhaya to accept responsibility of the seven month pregnancy that Locadia is carrying.  So we can safely say the PM slept with this woman without the intention of marrying her. In this day and age of HIV and AIDS who can risk his/ her life by having unprotected sex. This is not this first time we have heard that the PM has impregnated. Word has it that he had to settle for out court settlement with a Bulawayo woman after he sired a child with her. What does this show for a leader? We as young people we look up to the people like him as our leaders. What can we learn from him? What kind of a leader who goes around sleeping with women without the intention of marrying them? Only a man of loose morals, of no value can do that.

The message that the PM is sending is, as long as you got money, you can impregnate women all you want, pay damages and forget about them. Negotiate for an out of court and move on to the next woman. Women organizations where are you? You are setting a wrong example for us as the youth of Zimbabwe. If it is true that Locadia is pregnant then what will become of the "twins?" The prime minister is just communicating that he does not value family. I say so because his children will grow up as bastards. These bastards will grow up in a broken family without a father. These are innocent children they deserve better. Not only will they grow being looked after by single mothers they will face many challenges as they grow up. Will they ever enjoy the love of their father? During the pre-marital counseling I was taught that the greatest gift you can give your children is to love their mother, will Morgan's bastards ever going to receive this gift? Mr. Tsvangirai, children need their father will you be there or you will just sending them some loose change like you wanted to do or has already done with the Tembos. I hope they will not have problems obtaining birth certificates that usually face many single parents. It will come a time that they will face inheritance issues. As a national leader we expect more from him. Yes agreed, he is human and like everyone else he has weaknesses. But we are all taught to own up to our mistakes and take responsibility of our actions. Every woman according to culture if impregnated "anotizira" and that's what Locadia did. There is nothing wrong with that. Many couples today are together today are together because of this. Many people ended up marrying people not because they wanted to or were ready for it but accepting responsibility of their actions. These are some of the consequences of having unprotected sex. If it turns out to be true that Ms Locadia is pregnant, Mr. PM do the honorable thing and be a responsible father. It is not the fault of the "twins" that you "divorced" their mother because of the media and you couldn't stand the public scrutiny.
