PDP President to deliver State of the Economy Address (SEA)

The Peoples' Democratic Party's (PDP) President Hon. Tendai Biti will tomorrow, 9 December 2016, at 1300hrs deliver the state of the economy address (SEA) at the PDP party office at Merchant House 4th floor, Corner 2nd street (Sam Nujoma) and R Manyika.
The SEA was initially scheduled to be held at Courtney hotel but has been reschedule to our party offices.
PDP President Tendai Biti will address this crucial process which is open to all members of the media fraternity.
In his address he will draw attention to fundamental contradictions facing our economy such as lack of productivity leading to economic recession, poor agricultural policies leading to massive and continuous food insecurity, deceptive budgetary targets and pronouncements, the fraud of bond notes and the ongoing cash crisis and as well as the breakdown of the social contract.
He will finally draw attention on the question of the National Transitional Authority (NTA) and how this will provide a soft landing for Zimbabwe and provide an opportunity for recovery, transitional justice and implementation of the constitution.
