Power - hungry Tsvangirai promises to save genocidists from prosecution in exchange for power

So strong is his desire to get to the state house of Zimbabwe that he has taken it upon himself to unilaterally announce an amnesty for Matabeleland genocide perpetrators. Who is Morgan Tsvangirai to make such big decisions on behalf of the people of Matabeleland?

We have been hearing this kind of garbage ever since Morgan Tsvangirai became the President of MDC T. We feel it is the right time for him to be told the truth and when to get off.

Did he consult the survivors of Matabeleland genocide before he approached the mike and single handedly announced impunity for Matabeleland genocide perpetrators? Did he consult those orphans, those who have more than 40 000 relatives who were brutally killed and thrown into mine shafts or buried in mass graves? Did he consult the parents or relatives of those who disappeared without trace? Did he seek the opinion of those who lost their homes and valuable properties when they were burnt down by the National Army 5th Brigade code named gukurahundi? Those who were tortured and severely bitten and lost limbs as a result? The more than 1 million who were displaced? What about more than 100 000 women and girls who were rapped, is it not reasonable to hear what they say?

No! He does not find the masses of Matabeleland worth of being consulted about the genocide that affected and still affects them, let alone appearing in the Matabeleland genocide commemoration events which are held every year in Bulawayo. When it suits him Mugabe started as a good leader until year 2000. This is when he started mistreating the Shona people, that is the period when effects of his mismanagement of the economy began to surface. When it suites him again he shades crocodile tears for Matabeleland genocide towards elections.

In 2010 he was quoted by the Mail and Guardian as saying Mugabe was his liberator and hero and that he must resign and save his legacy. What legacy? One thing we will never do is prevent Morgan Tsvangirai from hero worshipping, praising and appeasing his liberator and hero, Mugabe. But we caution him not to do it at the expense of the suffering and traumatised people of Matabeleland.

We pay much attention to these many contradicting statements from the mouth of one man who pretends to be standing with the people of Matebeleland when he is a Juda Scariot who's intention is to sacrifice both the living survivors of Matabeleland genocide and the dead for the highest office in Zimbabwe.

Matabeleland genocide popularly known as gukurahundi, Shona word that means first rains that clean dirty, caused devastating and far much deeper damage than power hungry Tsvangirai can imagine. Besides barbaric killing, raping, burning down of homes, displacement, torture, forced disappearances and maiming of the people of Matabele origin, the genocide caused disharmony and animosity between Matebele and Shona people.

The genocide did not end with the signing of the so called unity accord in 1987. It only took a different and more dangerous form as it became a venomous snake in the grass which continues to silently kill languages, dignity, identity, culture and the pride of the people of Matabeleland.

Tsvangirai's questionable actions show without any reasonable doubt that he belongs to this evil group of Matabeleland genocide denialists. We do not need foreigners to tell us when to forgive, forget, how to feel and what to do about the genocide that affects us. So the whoremonger Tsvangirai will be better having a quality time with his many women, some as young as his own children than misinterpreting Matabeleland genocide, misrepresenting and misleading the people of Matabeleland.

There is no "soft landing" for murderers of innocent masses. That misplaced idea exists only in the "blurred imagination" of Tsvangirai. This goes for the like minded who share the same stupid idea with the president of MDC T.

There is nothing special about perpetrators of Matabeleland genocide to deserve protection from prosecution. They are as backward, uncivilised, barbaric and brutal as the others in the world like the Nazi in Germany, Huntu extremists in Rwanda and many others elsewhere in the world. If 76 year olds in Germany can be pushed into courts using wheelchairs to answer for their participation in the holocaust why should perpetrators of Matabeleland genocide be given preferential treatment?

That Morgan Tsvangirai is a perennial loser goes without saying. One does not need glasses to see why his regime change project has failed to achieve any desirable results in the past 16 years regardless of receiving US$3,6 billion funding from the West. The man is a blind political dwarf. He is always misreading the political climate both in his own Zimbabwe alias Mashonaland and Matabeleland.

He is not even aware that the political discourse in Matabeleland has now taken another dimension. Truly politics is not like having a nice time with a beauty on a beach or park. If there is one person who must wake up from his 'political slumber' it is Morgan Tsvangirai. He needs to be told that a new era is unfolding in Matabeleland as the new generation of enlightened and brave people who are determined to restore their statehood has emerged. MLO is more than prepared to lead this generation to the promised land of milk and honey. For us failure is not an option and the independent Republic of Matabeleland is the best option. We shall not settle for anything less than that.

Izenzo kungemazwi!
