Should we be talking about VP posts or poverty issues?

I'm really disappointed with the current politics both in Zanu PF and Government when the whole country is languishing in poverty. Is it the right time to be discussing about VP Posts or it is the time to be discussing about real issues affecting Zimbabweans? The bottom line is we have selfish leaders who mind their own bellies who do not even bother what the whole country is going through. Judging by what the first lady said on Zanu Pf women's league meeting today, it means these people are from reality, the truth is they don't seem to see where the whole situation is leading. Zanu Pf should be ashamed to be talking about VP Posts when the whole country is burning. The whole country has been turned into vending industry, and things are not alright and we have real issues at stake.

Poverty Levels

Several people are going to bed without a proper meal, and it is the duty of the leadership of this country to address economic challenges facing the whole nation. According to my own analysis I would suggest that it is better Zanu PF Government suspends elections for now and divert all the resources for development and poverty alleviation. Some are going for days without food, the level of begging in streets have increased and majority of Zimbabweans have resorted to criminality. Resources for such meetings should be diverted for development. I get very amused when I hear someone wants to be Vice President when the whole country is struggling to afford a decent meal, and someone is busy plotting to be on seat number one. What is the actual plan to address the poverty challenges facing the whole nation? So many resources that were meant for poverty eradication were diverted for political mileage and personal gains at the expense of the nation.

Cash Shortages

Chinamasa short changed the whole nation when he lied under oath that Zimbabwe is very safe interms of cash supply (liquidity crunch). We need upright leaders who must learn to speak the truth when the whole country is in this current state. This country is sliding into serious turmoil and it is high time Mugabe must come up with (SONE), State of the Nation Address to curb the challenges which the country is facing. Banks are empty, civil servants and people in general can't have access to their salaries because of the major cash crisis facing the whole country, and I believe it is the duty of the whole nation to demand answers from the sitting Government on how they are planning to thwart such a crisis. How thern do we manage our own resources and business when we have cash crisis? How do we settle our domestic bills and other issues when we don't have the liquidity?

Chiri Fired, Ndudzo In

To me it doesn't make sense to fire a competent someone replacing him with an incompetent person. Chiri made a good job to report things as they are because there were several leakages in the financial sector but alas she was sacked. Reasons cited was the issue of over staying on the position. If I may ask who has over stayed Mugabe and Chiri? We need clarity on why Chiri was sacked? Ndudzo is an incompetent person who has some questionable credentials regarding his previous positions and this shows our country is at standstill. There were several reports regarding the auditor – general report and recommendations were made and up to now no arrests were made and believe you and me no one will be arrested. There are people who will easily get away with corruption no matter how big the issues are, they will never be exposed.
