Open letter to Mnangagwa

21 Nov 2017 at 19:40hrs | Views
Dear ED Mnangagwa

I have never met you and what follows is that you don't know me. What I have heard about you is from the media and/or hearsay or beerhall talk. I have had a privilege of meeting your girls and I can tell you that they are wonderful kids you did a good job of raising them. May God be praised for the great work. The reason for my writing is the events for the past week present an opportunity to rectify for the mistakes of the past 37 years.

I cannot judged you based on your past role in government because that was not your full vision. You only sang the son given to you by your master. Now that you are the master I expect to hear a brand new song composed by yourself. The country deserves to move forward from the past and this change is welcome because it gives us but especially yourself. I for one has great hope for the future and I want to see great and safe highways connecting our cities. Citizens must have equal and consistent opportunities to make a living and to support their families. I would be very disappointed to find the country back in the past.

Everybody appreciates the sacrifices that we made to free our land from oppression, but that should not be used to hinder progress of the nation. Individuals must be judged according to their ideas and their vision for the country. I am looking forward to your presidency because I hope it will be different, it has to be different. I have great hope for a great and prosperous nation under your rule, and something within me tells me that I won't be disappointed.

May the living God grant you wisdom to execute your duties well for the good of the everyone. When you feeling lost or unsure remember to consult God the maker of the universe.

Wishing you the best
Yours sincerely
