MDC Alliance welcomes another opportunist Madhuku

National Constitutional Assembly president, Professor Lovemore Madhuku's, pronouncement that he has joined MDC Alliance is already showing that the purported marriage of convenience is doomed to fail.
Prof Madhuku was once struck off from the Law Society register for converting client funds to personal use and spent 15 years without interfacing in his profession. This person cannot be entrusted to hold any public office and anyone celebrating his company is as lost as he is.
Embracing Madhuku into MDC Alliance is tantamount to taking Zimbabweans for a ride and this cannot be condoned in the new dispensations of hope and a better future for the Zimbabwean people.
Madhuku is perennial failure and as such cannot offer anything to the already directionless Alliance.
Recently he was rejected as a candidate to take up the post as the Dean of the Law Faculty at the University of Zimbabwe. How can an individual who is seen as unfit to lead a Faculty be part of those masquerading as the country's future leaders, truly this is really a fallacy.
Chamisa himself is priding himself in accomodating unwanted and failed politicians like Kudakwashe Bhasikiti (former Zanu Pf and Zim PF), Munacho Mutezo (former Zanu PF), little known Jacob Ngarivhume and now Madhuku among others. Surely an Alliance made up of such pretenders cannot be serious and as such should not be taken seriously.
It really shows that the MDC Alliance is composed of bunch of failed political opportunists who think they can sway the great minds of the Zimbabwean electorate by capitalising on Chamisa's misguided the silver tongue.
The MDC Alliance is doomed to fail due to number of reasons essentially because it was formed by a bunch of power hungry politicians who failed to adhere and even butchered their own constitutional and usurped power from the legitimate and democratically elected vice president of the MDC-T faction, Dr Thokozane Khupe.
Chamisa is trying to play to the gallery by welcoming such people as Madhuku without addressing real bread and butter issues affecting the people. What Zimbabweans are looking for is a real statesman who has a firm grasp of issues and will be able to tackle them head on.
