ED heading for humiliation and disaster!

Now with removal of Mugabe the state is even more personalised because you now have a locus of weak political power and strong military power in government. That conflation on it's own destroys structures for good governance.
Zimbabwe is better after change from Mugabe because the age old question of who is successor is no longer business of party and government. However the solution is not perfect, it takes a lot to plan and implement a take over.
It takes even more energy to make a take over work. That is why it is unwise to hold on to power after a take over.
ED should seriously be thinking about Zimbabwe's political and economic transition not campaigning for election or staying in office. If he stays in office after election he will be a worse leader than Mugabe, because he is supposed to learn from Mugabe's experience that best time to step down is when people still want you.
Good leaders step down not because they cant lead anymore because they value change and progress possible in their absence. A good dancer knows when to leave the dance floor!
