Learnt nothing and forgotten nothing-nepotism

While it may be unfair to deny those closely related or connected to the powers that be, due diligence must be taken to ensure that such appointments are done above board.

I think subjecting the applicants to parliamentary portfolio committee for interviews would proffer a degree of transparency and produce meriting appointees.

These are corporate appointments where we cannot talk of one surrounding themselves with loyalist, as in the case of Trump.

Trump is considered an outsider in US politics and is not acquainted with the political ropes of both Washington and the world, hence his appointing of family members for counsel.  

Moreover, Jared Kusher, his son in law is reported to be taking no salary, though he is bound to benefit in other spheres.

We see here ED walking right in the footsteps of the the man he deposed. He is corruptly filling both government related corporates and state with his cronies.

The same guys get top preference in getting lucrative business contracts and the rest remain on the periphery and eating the crumbs that fall from the master's table.

The system has not changed.

The struggle continues.
