Manheru's 'Charamba' tirade against Welshman Ncube futile and retrogressive

Mr Manheru, some say he is Mugabe himself, some say he is Mugabe's spokesperson, either way, he is the true voice of Mr Mugabe. In his last article he berated Welshman Ncube The President of MDC as if he was rebuking a naughty child, who plays with dangerous implements unknowingly that those implements might hurt him and in the process others who are innocent.
This veiled attack is 'bare and naked' we can see through it; to those who have been on the receiving end of Zanu-PF oppression since 1980 the attack is shamelessly misleading. The belittlement of Prof Welshman Ncube is a well calculated strategy of ridiculing and cowing the people of Matebeleland and Midlands. The veiled threats of violence against Welshman Ncube and his supporters are a canny reminder of gukurahundi genocide and what Zanu-PF is potentially capable of doing against the people of Matebeleland, he makes it clear that Zanu-PF did it before and it can do it again. Whether this is just navel gazing or reality, we shall wait and see.
Insinuation
According to Manheru and his acolytes, any idea which emanates from Matebeleland is tribal and never national and therefore it does not deserve to be entertained even though it could be a stroke of genius which could help Zimbabwe move forward. One wonders why Zimbabweans are afraid of doing what is obviously right?
When one can allow gullibility and myopia to guide him, then by extension it means that other regions in Zimbabwe did not want Rhodesia occupation to end, just as a reminder to Manheru Mugabe, in 1893 Impi Yomvukela, it was the Matebele who rebelled against colonialism first; it was in Makokoba in Bulawayo where the Nationalist politics against the Rhodesian government started and not to forget the land redistribution, ZAPU led by Nkomo had a clear policy on land reform and it was Inqama settlers from Matebeleland who pioneered the land redistribution.
It would be foolish for Manheru to continue to believe in his nonsense that ideas coming from Matebeleland are tribal and regional. After all what is regional? Is Zimbabwe not a region? That nonsense of elevating any idea or nonsense coming from Mashonaland under the guise of national should be laid to rest once and for, because it is misleading, insulting and wrong. On the other hand one can not expect a man like Manheru and Mugabe to all of a sudden change their evil ways of belittling and demonising the people of Matebeleland. It now seems that their tribal thoughts are completely embedded in their thought process, now by default, their response to any idea coming from Matebeleland is to trivialise and tribalise it, regardless of its merits. This means that they must be forced or made to think otherwise, by any means necessary.
A well articulated Devolution of Power:
I will end with this, is there anyone out who is normal but still against the following?:-
"A fair and just Zimbabwe in which we celebrate our diversity means:
* Devolution of Power as system of national government.
* Promotion, protection and equality of all local languages.
* Proceeds from natural resources to benefit local communities.
* Locals should benefit from available jobs within provinces and Districts.
* Respect for all cultures and traditions.
* National TV and Radio broadcasts and programs must use all Zimbabwe's languages.
* Independent media including community radio.
* Public officers must speak the language of communities which they serve.
* All community leaders and representatives must come from the community.
* Schools that teach sciences must be made available in all provinces and districts.
* Hospitals, registry offices and other essential services must be accessible within communities"
The above is Professor Welshman Ncube's campaign message, this message will definitely win the hearts and minds of the majority of Matebeles and other fair minded Zimbabweans from other regions. The Matebeles have experienced unbridled marginalisation against them, and most of the points of Ncube's message address their concerns and this in a Unitary Zimbabwe can only be realised through devolved powers. Mr Manheru, you can push a people but only to a certain extent, from there onward, you can not push them anymore, the people of Zimbabwe have reached that stage, where they can not be intimidated or cowed by Zanu-PF propaganda anymore.
If it was true that the region of Matebeleland is the only one demanding devolution of power, then it would be clear testament of its peculiar needs; then powers should be devolved to Matebeleland only and the rest remain under a grotesque centralised governance system.
