MDC Alliance presidential candidate Nelson Chamisa said they will be no elections if his party members are not invited to witness printing of ballot papers.
Addressing supporters in Mazowe North constituency, Mvurwi stadium yesterday, his first rally after his return from Israel Chamisa was alone as opposed to all alliance rallies were he moves with all principals.
Chamisa said he was not pleased with the layout of the ballot papers on which he was placed on the left side just opposite Emmerson Mnangagwa a move he said was meant to confuse the electorate into voting for Mnangagwa.
"If we do not agree on ballot papers there will be no elections this year, I was told that our party members were not given time to witness the printing of papers, hence tomorrow I am going to see Chigumba and Mnangagwa if we do not agree on that there will be no elections," bellowed Chamisa amid thunderous cheering.
He took the opportunity to endorse MDC T aspiring Member of Parliament Tulani Ndlovu ahead of MDC Alliance candidate Tinashe Muchenje.
"We know you had problems with your candidates here but we have realised that Ndlovu is more popular and with him we are assured of winning the seat he cannot compete with the incumbent MP Dinha. I have not seen him at parliament before , we just heard he stole money meant for Pembi bridge," he said.
Chamisa claimed that ZANU PF was disjointed following former president Robert Mugabe's removal and Mugabe has pledged to vote for him than a coup government.
"How can we lose an election to a disjointed government there is no way, Mugabe pledged to vote for me if you do not vote for me Mugabe will do so, hence if I happen to lose I will know that it is you and not Mugabe since I have his vote."
Vice president Constantino Chiwenga was not spared by Chamisa who said he should rest since he fought for the country but is losing focus by trying to be in a failed government.
"Chiwenga is a military man he should relax and leave us the young people to do the governance recently he said people of Zimbabwe should not worry about cash, honestly how can he say that cash is not important , give me a chance in government and enjoy life," said Chamisa.
