Matabeleland independence by 2018
12 Sep 2018 at 07:14hrs | Views
Leader of MLO Paul Siwela
MLO made a commitment, informed and encouraged the people of Matabeleland to commit themselves and participate in many and varied political activities leading to the birth of the Republic of Matabeleland by 2018 and thereabout. We are still on course and pleased to reaffirm our commitment to this noble cause and invite all the people of Matabeleland in their diversity to join hands with us to give effect to this declaration.
The time is now opportune. The environment is fertile with all the factors pointing to our emphatic victory and attainment of our independence and sovereignty. The stars beckon on us to proceed with this declaration.
We call upon all our patriotic citizens to come on board and associate themselves with this noble cause. It could not be a better time than this.
To our oppressors and detractors alike, we say, you can only oppress a people for a certain period of time but the minutes and hours are numbered. No amount of intimidation or persuasion will make us abandon the struggle for Matabeleland independence. We have arrived at a point where we no longer care whether our independence will be born naturally or through cesarean section.
Should it take the unfortunate but necessary cesarean process we are fully prepared for that kind of rough politics.
We are fully aware that this rough political discourse will claim casualties from both sides. Anyone who will stand on the way of the revolution including those reading this article would be part of the statistics.
To all the sellouts we say to you the revolution is well known for eating its own wayward children. Bluntly put, traitors will be dealt with ruthlessly. You do not wish to be counted amongst those at the wrong end of the stick.
Victory is certain and our independence is guaranteed.
