Chamisa's allegations annoy TAD

The African Democrats (TAD) response to claims by Chamisa that Dr Tsvangirai whispered to him about the formation of a Transitional Government or Coalition with Zanu PF.
Without wasting time, TAD perceived it important to not only respond but request further clarity from MDC President Chamisa on claims that Mnangagwa and Chiwenga betrayed Dr Tsvangirai by not forming a Coalition Govt or a Transitional Govt with Zanu PF.
It's important to refresh our memories, take you back to the period when Mugabe was removed and at the time, Dr Tsvangirai was still MDC president and Nelson Chamisa was one of the VPs.
Its also crucial to remember that Dr Tsvangirai was not well and eventually got hospitalized in South Africa. Who can forget the images when ED and Chamisa ambushed an ailing Tsvangirai. We also remember that visitations were restricted, monitored and managed.
Watching from a distance, thought its none of our business, Nelson Chamisa rose to claim interim presidency of MDC against similar claims that Dr Tsvangirai had singled him out as the sole successor and indeed Chamisa used that unverified claim to rise to the throne. Those claims were never substantiated.
What really annoyed TAD and rest of Zimbabweans at large was Chamisa's speech during the memorial gathering in Buhera. Chamisa was at it again, this time claiming that Dr Tsvangirai had also whispered to him that MDC was to form a transitional government or coalition government.
It is at this point that TAD seeks clarity from Chamisa because the formation of a transitional government is of national interest that should be a result or an outcome of a national dialogue.
It is disturbing that Dr Tsvangirai whispered or pre-empted only to Chamisa, sensitive information that none of the MDC - NEC could assist with further information. It is at this junction that we should acknowledge that Dr Tsvangirai would have been a presidential candidate during the 2018 elections. For Dr Tsvangirai to even think of forming a transitional government, he would have admitted that MDC would lose the 2018 elections and also predicted his own death before elections. Why would a presidential candidate, in secrecy tell his VP to prepare for a coalition government if he would be present.
If Dr Tsvangirai was to protect and safe-guard his political party and legacy, it would make sense to call for NEC meeting and declare his concerns and possible solution.
We can't just respond, analyse and unpack these lies without appreciating the timing when Chamisa decided to make this announcement. Initially, Chamisa had publicly declared that he will never sit down with an illegitimate Mnangagwa for a dialogue, that statement was also followed by another statement that he will never sit down with losers but would rather march into the State House.
Could it be that, while making all these statements, Chamisa had forgotten what Dr Tsvangirai told him, that is to form a transitional government with Zanu PF or he is a psychological and pathological liar who now use the late Dr Tsvangirai to justify his change of mind. It is important to note that Dr Tsvangirai left no videos, no audio recordings, no written notes or tangible material to support and substantiate all of Chamisa's claims. In the absence of any proof or v11 type of evidence, we could only assume, we are being taken for a ride. We challenge Chamisa to man-up and withdraw these lies, the plot and claims. Formation of a transitional government should be an outcome of an inclusive national dialogue. All political parties should contribute to the formation of a lasting Zim solution. No need to manufacture lies or manipulate the public. Zimbabwe belongs to all of us and the majority of our people don't belong to MDC or Zanu PF. We are suspicious of young leaders who can lie in broad day light. Deeply disappointed and traumatised.
