Epic start for Kaitano Tembo

Its been a long and stressful journey for the Zimbabwean born gaffer of Supersport United who has managed to anchor the Matsatsantsa a Pitori as they are affectionately known by their fans to the sixth spot in the ABSA Premiership league.
After having taken the reins from Eric Tinkler the former Supersport United coach earlier on, no one would have thought that Tembo was going to manoeuvre Matsatsantsa a Pitori from the middle table especially considering that a veteran like Tinkler was finding it hard to take the team to the promised land.
Tembo who was promoted last year on the 1st of July from being the assistant coach, has done exceptionally well considering the fact that he was yet to coach a formidable team since he started his coaching career in 2012.
The Supersport United gaffer also managed to reach the finals of the MTN8 and also ensured that Matsatsantsa a Pitori contend for the same silverware come next season.
Tembo will also be hoping to clinch a sixth cup for Supersport United's cabinet courtesy of the Nedbank Cup which they have five silverwares up to date and also handing them a chance to participate in the Confederation tournament. Tembo will also focus his attention on the league which Supersport United last won in 2010.
However, Supersport United were not forthcoming when it comes to the tenure of Tembo as the head coach of the club.
