MDC's 'Black Monday Shock'

Paul Rukanda the Glenview South District Organising Secretary with Chamisa
On behalf of myself, the National Reclamation Assembly and the 5 Million Vote Effect Campaign Worldwide, It is grievous and greasly that i learnt of the passing on of Leader Paul Rukanda the Glenview  South District Organising Secretary and a close confidante of the daughter to our Icon Hon Vimbai Tsvangirai Java.

Leader Rukanda survived the carnibal Zanu PF attacks and himself was a later day political prisoner of the vampire state. He survived the onslaught of the junta but succumbed to the harrowings of the poor road infrastructures of our roads somewhere in Kwekwe were he was involved in a road motor accident in the evening coming from Bulawayo.

Sad, he was coming from a party ceremony in preparation for the unstoppable MDC 24-26May Congress.Iam further informed that leader Paul Rukanda succumbed alongside Ward 7 Mt Pleasant Councillor Tafadzwa Mhundwa himself a brother to the late Mother Icon Susan Tsvangirai. Hon Vimbai Tsvangirai Java survived and we wish all the survivors the speedy recovery.

It is a deep sense of loss to the party of Excellency losing one of the decorated cadre in the movement leader Paul Rukanda.

I for one had never had a personal man to man encounter with leader Paul Rukanda but i got connected to him through a song. An anonymous song, even up to date iam not sure who sang the sweet melody of hope  connecting me to the MDC Alliance as led by President Chamisa. The song was a grand beauty beckoning every Zimbabwean to join the MDC Alliance bullet train of freedom as led by President Chamisa to a new Zimbabwe-A New beginning.

The song had my name and this unknown to me Paul Rukanda. I became curious to know him in vain only to get connected with him by the news of his death. Sad indeed. Go well  leader Paul Rukanda. The song goes:

'MDC Alliance mhai'
'Handei tose'
'KuNew Zimbabwe'

That song goes to make a clarion call that president Chamisa is the beackon of the Zimbabwean hope as Mugabe himself, Gwesu (National Reclamation Assembly), President Chamisa, Paul Rukanda, Job "Ken Saro Wiwa" Sikhala and even Bhasikiti formerly of Zanu PF are now riding the freedom train. It was a stark surprise getting the National Reclamation Assembly Treasurer General then Leader Dr Brighton Mutama of Parirenyatwa Group of Hospital sending me the song. Where it came from i dont know?Who sang it it remains a mystery - The amazing ways of the democracy struggle. I would have wanted meeting leader Rukanda myself. I even asked in the groups who this Rukanda was but never got a clue until only yesterday. As for Mugabe, President Chamisa, Job Sikhala, Myself and Bhasikiti chanted in the song i knew them. Only this Paul Rukanda? The question that keep coming to me was Who is this Paul Rukanda? I never got the maze until getting shocked on social media that the very Paul Rukanda who was fighting for a new Zimbabwe is no more.

Go well son of mother. The legacy left in the song and your great doings in the struggle for Democracy will remain connecting me and you. This is now my cause. It is my belief. 'Napresident Chamisa tichasvika kure. KuNew Zimbabwe'

May our finely decorated cadres rest in peace
