The truth shall set every suspect free

ZACC has said it loudly and clearly that when reporting cases of corruption they need evidence (call them V11). How about instances where tell-tale signs are so glaring but no tangible evidence, will they not move in to investigate?

Someone once said absence of evidence does not necessarily mean evidence of absence. The Pay-for-your-house Scheme of the 90s is a case in point where a noble and massive housing project initiated by government crumbled like a deck of cards for no clear reason.

Some contributors were prejudiced to a point of not return, no house and no refund after years of paying contributions religiously. The housing fund is alleged to have been 'looted' by undeserving people who never contributed a dime towards the fund.

By the way, how far back in time does ZACC look and glean for cases where corruption is suspected to have reared its ugly head? Is the 90s too late for investigations or its not reachable? We heard there would be no sacred cows, I humbly request ZACC to walk the talk and leave no stone unturned.

The 'smoke' is too much there must be a 'fire' somewhere. Who caused the collapse of the Housing Scheme by bleeding the fund dry? Surely those prejudiced must be compensated or better still avail the promised flats.

Government collected the contributions through the Ministry of Construction, Public Works and National Housing, where are the flats? Where is the money? How much innocent is such a situation when money was collected but 'goods' not delivered?

The truth shall set every suspect free.
