Open letter to President Mnangagwa

Today the 7th of August, is another unfortunate moment of the travesty of justice upon three Mthwakazi Republic Party activists at the Tredgold Magistrates Courts in Bulawayo. We write this letter as MRP South Africa youth Chapter, to bring to your attention and that of the progressive world, the affliction that is to be delivered by what we perceive as command politically engineered justice by your government. It is worth reminding you that this abuse of the national justice system to suppress political opponents has been prolonged by your party since independence in 1980, leading to the Gukurahundi ethnic Genocide that wiped away tens of thousands of the people of Matabeleland regions between 1982 and 1987. The likes of such leaders like Dumiso Dabengwa had to leave this world still pleading innocence for the crimes that your justice system found them guilty of. Mthwakazi activists are still subjected to the same systematic persecution.
Ordinarily, as a leader of the so called second republic you will find our call for the release of Vinet Ncube,Welcome Moyo and Marshall Sibanda who are languishing at Khami Prison awaiting sentencing today, as justified.
We wish to remind you of your own recent lament of the rot and corruption of the syndicates of your national judiciary system. Today our Mthwakazi activists are becoming victims of the ethnic and tribal onslaught, that is pushed by your governance system through command political justice. The systematic marginalization of the people of Matabeleland has led to your deployment of hostile magistrates of Shona ethnicity who are unapologetic in fulfilling the 1979 Shona elitist grand plan.
We vehemently rejected the Kgalema Motlante Commission, coming to Bulawayo for a fact finding mission in Bulawayo for the death of the six people killed by soldiers in Harare, after last year's harmonised elections that brought you into your executive office. The selective arrest and charge of our three activists vindicates our narrative that the Kgalema Motlante Commission was your public relations program of sanitizing your regime in both the domestic and international stage.
Our demand to you and your government is to release our innocent activists who are being persecuted for voicing for justice for the Gukurahundi genocide victims, which was sanctioned by yourself and your colleagues as leaders of the state.
The issue of Gukurahundi has always been evident as an instrument of marginalizing the people of Mthwakazi, politically, economically, socially and otherwise. We therefore reiterate on our call for the establishment of a respectable Commission with International eminent persons, to probe the Gukurahundi Genocide. Anything less than that will render the mantra of 'Zimbabwe is a unitary state', a mere facade.
Our dear activists are languishing in prison today, thanks to the Gukurahundi genocide. Enough is enough, we have suffered enough as a result of command justice. If you are a reformed leader that you purport to be, please instruct your system to unconditionally release our dear comrades.
Kind Regards
