24 Aug 2012 at 11:03hrs | Views
The President of the Republic of Zimbabwe recently said he is ready to retire but has been struggling to find a suitable candidate for the next elections because of the infighting within the party. Of lately he has done a lot to be reckoned with e.g. the land reform program, the indigenisation program to ensure that the citizens are empowered.

He needs to retire in peace and leave this position in good hands (to ensure that what our fore fathers fought for is achieved for the good of all the citizens.

To ensure continuity in this, the following vacancies exist for the Zimbabwean citizens.

To add more, he/she must report to the people of Zimbabwe on daily performance and ensuring achievement of sustainable economic targets through planning, leading, organising and controlling.

Behavioural Skills: Working with the people of Zimbabwe and visiting their urban and rural areas on a monthly basis to meet them (masses) and listen to their grievances (different province each month). He/she must be an agency of change, delivering results and meeting the Zimbabweans expectations, especially the poor (closing the gap between the rich and the poor to an acceptable level). The ability to copy with pressure and setbacks, achieving the country's work goals and objectives, deciding and initiating the right action as well as applying expertise and technology. Of paramount importance, conduct investigations on other government officials (Ministers, MPs, Mayors etc.) on service delivery, implementing necessary precautions to avoid re-occurrence (where failing) and that includes sacking or reshuffling.

In addition, success in economic recovery (one term) will make him/her available for a second  and last term (not negotiable), which is subject to re-applying again and going through the same interview process administered by the people of Zimbabwe and the probation period (second term) would still apply. Cutting less i.e. overseas trips (10 star hotel accommodation) to the United Nations, SADC visiting other states is highly recommended and encourage that such monies be used for community projects and helping developing the economy. Tax payer's money, government money should not be used on overseas trips for leisure, shopping, touring or health matters. The medical aid for the President and all government officials should cover only in the Republic hence very important to push for state of the art hospitals (world class).

Last but not least, he/she should prove the Zimbabwean nationality of the spouse while good marital records and caring of own dependents will also be another added advantage (history of womanising or manising may result in a candidate being disqualified as he/she may pose a danger to the young stock especially).

NB:    Unfortunately the position of the Prime Minister was nullified as the people of Zimbabwe felt that it is the same position as that of the President and that such will create rivalry as the two will try to outsmart each other, have different relations with different countries which can create chaos.
