Keep your Aids and leave our children alone

26 Aug 2012 at 08:26hrs | Views
Ndimatsheloni avhudi vhakololo. Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. I have not repented and I am not planning to back down not on this one, rest assured, there is no going back.

The grocery that is good for my mother is also good for your dear wife. They are both women, they both went to maternity to delivery me and you. The pain was the same - so we proceed with the cabbages to your mother's funeral.

Free education for living to the newly weds - if you want a man's heart, love or at least pretend to love  his mother. All men, even the chauvinist like Linoni, are mama's babies.

If gogo MaNgulube sanctions a  divorce you are indeed gone but if  she says over her dead body, nothing  happens. Even after her death the message remains making echoes in the son's mind and who wants to cross mother's path especially a dead one.

Some sons-in-law are evil. They abuse what the Shona call chiramu. Their wives, our sisters passionately  ask for a chance to look after our daughters as a good turn deserving another gesture but what happens - their men abuse the outdated chiramu system by raping the girls. This is commonplace and most of these incidents go unreported. Even if the wife gets wind of what is  happening in the house, many do not  report the crime, saying they want to  safeguard their marriages and maintain relations with their in-laws.

"They will say you brought your  brother's daughter or young sister to  trap our son. Now he has been  jailed.''

I, Linonifulu linamalumbulela, can only say return our children home and keep your AIDS to yourselves and your evil husbands. Some of  these young girls in their naivety get brainwashed and are promised  marriage by the sibare and end up wishing you, my dear sister, dead in the hope of being a replacement.   Hope my mother's daughter you know rat kill. Nurse this problem and  you will be the rat. If you see funny signs of improper behaviour between  your husband and your niece or  young sister, just return the girl home before you are killed.

To the young girls, get your own AIDS, there are a lot of men in this country. Those that are sleeping with their sister's or aunt's husbands are witches. This is called witchcraft in Venda. Vhakwenyana leave our children alone, do not teach them witchcraft in broad daylight. Keep your AIDS to yourselves.

Livestock a killer on our roads

People continue to perish on our roads. The witch has not been diagnosed. It's all as well that we have police patrols along our highways but accidents still happen killing a lot of people. The reason is basically because of donkeys, cattle, potholes and lack of road signs along our highways.

Police presence on the highways is  evident for all with eyes to see but the accidents are still taking their toll as many are being killed and maimed.

Sometime last year after visiting Khama's republic, I wrote about the livestock patrol unit. This is a vehicle that drives livestock away from our highway especially at night. This is the most progressive policy that Government has that Zimbabwe needs to emulate. Besides this, Botswana has a strong fence protecting its  highway. We here have destroyed our own fence.

The Ministry of Transport should  put back the fences, mend all potholes, while police should impound all cattle or donkeys found grazing along the highway. I propose that the owners of the livestock be fined.

Linoni was almost a holiday statistic during Defence Forces Day while driving from Venda. This was  the fourth accident with livestock along this treacherous highway.

Livestock: please keep your animals. I know there is good grass along the highway but what is the  cost?

Looking for cops

A blonde and a brunette are out driving, and the brunette tells the blonde to look out for cops - especially cops with their lights on. After they've been driving for a while, the brunette asks the blonde if she's seen any cops.

"Yes,'' says the blonde. "Are their lights on?'' The blonde has to think for a moment, then says, "Yes. No. Yes. No. Yes. No.''

I like the way you write, keep it up and tell us more. - 0713604505.

That's right! Always have something on standby in case you go under the weather. Why are some Venda words similar to Shona. - 0714189435.

Linoni, I think President Zuma must reinstate Julius Malema and consider his will to nationalise South African minds. South Africa not ready to chair AU. - Madauza.

Linoni, I am perplexed about somebody staying in Bulawayo who decides to be hard-headed and say handigoni kutaura Ndebele. When I am in Harare, I speak Shona. they should learn to respect us. And to ZBC, is it constitutional to start with Shona news always? It's getting into our nerves now. - 0772939673.

Linoni, I think it's SA which needs security sector reforms not peaceful Zimbabwe. Shooting and killing stick-weilding miners is murder that reminds us of apartheid. - Big javaz, Hwange.
