Zimbabwe is a sleeping giant

IF we begin to appreciate one another and work as a team, I tell you Zimbabwe will be the economic hub of Africa. The issue is that we lack clarity. What do we want as a nation? The political situation is the stumbling block to the progress of our nation.
We lack capacity to plan and implement.
You can't compare the current crop of MPs and Cabinet ministers with those of the 1980s. Currently very few people's representatives are competent and eager to see the betterment of the nation.
For the majority of our representatives, these are sinecure positions which serve to benefit only themselves. Where are we headed as a nation?
The issue is that all our representatives are party-owned, not people-driven. They should be a difference between party politics and national politics.
Let's value our nation, it's not something we should experiment with. The biggest problem we are facing is politics and all political parties, whether ruling or opposition, have contributed to the mess we find ourselves in.
We are endowed with vast mineral resources and most of our minerals are in demand.
We have the finest brains in the land which makes our country the most literate on the continent, but we have nothing to show for it.
