A HERO AND A TRUE LEGEND
Not by a spear or a barrel of a gun, nor by weapons of mass destruction did you become a HERO.
Not by kick and punch, or blow for blow, but by the art and slickness of your feet was your conquest.
You went into the battlefield armed only with a pair of boots, to fight not an enemy but an opponent.
You buttered and slaughtered your opponents week in and week out, never with a grin or a frown on your face but with a smile and an embrace that comforted all your casualties.
You delighted not only those who supported you but charmed those who opposed you too.
Your kingdom spread beyond the walls of BF, soon you caught the eye of the nation winning the hearts and minds of masses. Today your legacy hangs on the walls of Queens and Kings across the continents of the world. A family has lost a son, a brother, a father and all social titles we can define, a nation has lost a hero and a role model, and the footballing world has lost a true legend.
We at ZAPU Europe Province we share our deepest and heart felt commiserations to the Ndlovu family on the sudden, tragic and untimely loss of your beloved son Adam Ndlovu. No amount of words no matter how carefully chosen or eloquently recited will ever replace your loss. Rest in peace Adamski. Lala ngokuthula qhawe lakwaNdlovu, wena ngqwele kanobhutshuzwayo. Peter will remain in our prayers and we wish him a full and speedy recovery. Looking forward to seeing him back in the field of play where he belongs.
