Put your money where your mouths are Honourable MPs!!!

Been seeing pictures of the horrific road accident in Chisumbanje Manicaland! Eish! eish! eish!

Honestly if our MPs cared as they claim to do, instead of them accepting two luxury vehicles each from government one wishes they would all give them up and ask government to instead buy emergency vehicles and they get cheaper cars.

I remember a similar accident I witnessed just after West Nicholson Gwanda over a year ago where people were burnt beyond recognition trapped in a car cause emergency vehicles and expertise was not available to try and at least rescue some and extinguish the fire in time.

Government set up toll gates over three years ago with an idea to raise funds to repair or replace our road network but alas we get reports that there was a possibility of each toll gate leaking out thousands of US$ per month through organised theft or corruption which has not been investigated. People continue to die like fumigated flies on our roads while the rich feast on money meant to be used to save and sustain lives. What an embarrassment!

I know for certain my MP in Gwanda is in possession already of at least two top class luxury 4X4 vehicles yet Gwanda District as a whole with three MPs and senators does not have a fully equipped emergency reaction vehicle nor fully trained personnel.

Come on comrades for once put your money where your mouths are and relinquish those top of the range 4x4s and allow government to turn them into emergency vehicles. Imagine over 300 fully equipped and top class emergency vehicles strategically placed around the country!!! We will vote for you for life.

Who goes first????
