The demise of the MDC-T is disheartening, it was caused by one man

The MDC-T made its mark in the early days of its dispensation, and at one moment, we thought it was a sincere institution.
Unfortunately, since its formation, the MDCT has been nothing but a pack of wild dogs, only to eager to bite anything within its territory.
Following its defeat in the July 2013 elections, everything went haywire: disorder intensified, violence deepened and desperation set in. It is not surprising that the MDC-T has openly claimed its place in the territory of thugs.
The drama surrounding Elton Mangoma's request for Morgan Tsvangirai's resignation is good evidence of mayhem in the MDC-T camp.
Last weekend marked the end of the MDC-T establishment. The whole world observed Elton Mangoma being butchered to mince meat by MDC-T's youth guerrillas, said to have been sponsored by Morgan Tsvangirai. He, (Morgan Tsvangirai) has been president of the MDC-T at its formation many years ago despite the expiry of his term, according to their constitution.
Meanwhile, Western countries still regard him as the best person to lecture us on democracy. Of course, that is a colossal joke, and it's one that is not hilarious at all!
After Mangoma ordered Morgan Tsvangirai to step down immediately, he (Elton Mangoma) has been facing fierce opposition from every wing of the party, particularly the youth league. MDC-T' youths bayed for his blood last weekend like a bunch of hungry lions charging at a wounded buffalo.
The 'murder' instinct detected in the young men's behaviour is the sort belonging to the era of Apartheid. Nevertheless, in all ernesty, Elton Mangoma was right because Morgan Tsvangirai's history of election defeat is embarrassing. He has lost three elections consecutively in 15 years to President Robert Mugabe after amending the MDC-T constitution to suit his dictatorial intention to represent it continually.
Secondly, the fact that the MDC-T is pushing for an early congress this March is additional evidence that the house is in disarray. If that frantic adjustment happens, it would be another case of desperate times calling for desperate measures.
Tsvangirai regrouped his District chairpersons at the weekend, attempting to gather support and possibly reschedule the congress to March. That turned into another bloodbath of a kind only seen in Chuck Norris's movies.
As further evidence that the MDC-T is finished, Morgan Tsvangirai reportedly demanded $3 million to resign as MDC-T president. It is also reported that on realising that the party's senior brigade quickly endorsed that arrangement, he became doubtful and upped the lucrative transaction to $7 million in pursuit of the highest bidder.
But then, Morgan Tsvangirai faces a predicament of confusion. Firstly, he has developed a tyrannical attitude that only he is capable of toppling President Mugabe, in which case he should stay to achieve that objective: whilst on the other hand, he is fully aware that his disciples and valuable sponsors have lost all hope in him because he has been chasing pavements for the past 15 years.
In the end, his predicament is really about the decision to either stay or go. The reality though is that whatever he chooses to do will not bother Zanu-PF, let alone President Mugabe.
The MDC-T's greatest failure has not been its inability to beat Zanu-PF at the elections, but its disappointment in the inclusive government and their terrible lack of vision, generally.
Mind you, they promised to create a million jobs at the beginning of the four year term, and not a single job was created. Because MDC-T is a party which emerged just because Zanu-PF was vulnerable, their failure was expected.
Having come with the full financial backing of western forces to achieve their evil objectives, Tsvangirai was adamant in his desire to take charge of the top job. However, because they had no real intention to improve the welfare of the common person at the very beginning, their glory was short-lived.
In a nutshell, it is the best example of an opportunistic establishment with very little preparation.
That Morgan Tsvangirai must resign from any political activity is beyond question. There is overwhelming evidence that Morgan Tsvangirai has failed in every aspect of his career. Apart from his ability to lure unsuspecting teenage girls with money, there is not much else to say in mitigation.
Mind you, Morgan Tsvangirai has probably slept with more girls this year than the number of women President Mugabe has dated his entire life. It is a comparison between Jesus and Judas, the ultimate dividing line between victory and defeat.
Clearly, it is hard for Morgan Tsvangirai to redeem himself, and no magic wand will turn things around. He has caused too much damage to grasp and nothing can save him.
He has let down thousands of good men and women who rallied behind him since 2000 and has completely crushed the dreams and aspirations of the young women who claim to have been impregnated by him in five star hotels.
The end of the MDC-T establishment is disheartening because it was caused by one man.
