'Dogs sense that something has gone wrong with Tsvangirai'

Very few people, if any at all, would still have the courage to vouch for Mr Tsvangirai's leadership skills. Many now agree that he has failed both as a leader and a politician. Even the dogs in Zimbabwe sense that something has gone horribly wrong with the former trade unionist.
Loretha Nyathi, Tsvangirai's Bulawayo-based mistress with whom he has a 4 year old child, was yesterday reported to have been held captive by a local hotel for failing to settle a $300 bill.
Miss Nyathi is one of Mr Tsvangirai's incalculable sexual victims and had travelled to Harare to collect her maintenance allowance from the wretched former Prime Minister. But, as has become tradition, Tsvangirai disappeared into thin air.
This disreputable behavior from a man who should lead by example amounts to a serious abdication of responsibility.
Tsvangirai should have taken this as a golden opportunity to fix his reputation which suffered further damaged as a result of running away from a hospital bill some two weeks ago. It was a chance, I believe, for him to prove to the nation that he is an honest, principled and responsible leader.
Sadly, and to his eternal shame, Mr Tsvangirai acted childishly and irresponsibly. He will be held in contempt by history.
