The struggle still need Gordon Moyo

14 Jun 2014 at 13:57hrs | Views
Gordon Moyo was in the same stream with me at the University of Zimbabwe and when some of us were busy doing student activism he decided to work behind the scenes as a non assuming character but very solid in terms of clear ideas of how we should tackle the difficulties we were facing.

He is one man who liked me a lot during the period of our activism.

I also loved and respected his cool. Though l was an extreme radical he would still tell me that leadership needs people like you who can not be taken for granted.

When we formed the MDC he didn't want to be on the forefront. He wanted to call shots behind the scenes.

Today when we are in process of rejuvenating the people's struggle, he has again decided to go back to his territory. I really wanted to work with him in rejuvenating our project.

Mwari ndivo vanoziva, but the struggle still need Gordon Moyo.
