The pseudo revolutionaries thrive in chaos, actually they are not even pseudo revolutionaries, but worse than that, they are counter-revolutionaries. Counter-revolutionaries can sing revolutionary songs; talk the revolutionary talk, to the extent that many people start taking them for true revolutionaries. The counter-revolutionaries in essence work against the interests of the people; they are self-centred and work for outside interests. Their modus operandi which is influenced by their guilty conscience is to associate true revolutionaries or anyone opposing them with the external interests. Bogus revolutionaries are not only a danger to the nation but also a danger to themselves and their off-springs. They leave behind a legacy of thorns.
Even during the liberation struggle they did not have a coherent land policy, when they took over power in 1980, their true intentions became clear, they were given buckets full of pounds and dollars by the British government and the USA to initiate a fair land distribution, but what did they do?, they siphoned all the cash to safe havens abroad for their girl-friends and children.
Coercion, threat of violence and physical harm form part of the operational structure of the pseudo revolutionaries. The genocide of the 1980s was not a coincidence, it was a well-planned and calculated move by the pseudo revolutionaries, to instil maximum fear in the hearts and minds of the citizens. It was a well thought out ill-strategy to divide the people on a permanent basis. This is something which they have achieved with a distinction.
The year 2000s illegal and chaotic land invasions were part and parcel of the dangerous psyche which does not think long term, which does not weigh long term consequences. I can categorically state that this move of land invasions was counter-revolutionary, for any government which will take over, will be forced to relook into this issue through a forensic land audit. When the people went to war it was partly because they wanted their ancestral lands became. Now just imagine how many Shona speaking people were resettled in Matebeleland through these illegal land invasions. Why were there no Ndebele speaking people who were resettled in MaShonaland. This gives credence to the notion of The 1979 Shona Grand Plan being callously implemented in Matebeleland. Whites were resisted and so shall be the black colonisers. It is the duty of every man and woman to defend his or her land.
It is high time that the inhabitants of Matebelalnd and Midlands initiate legal proceedings against a government which seeks to leave them landless. If the legal route does not work, then all other means should be attempted.
The recent illegal and disrespectful land invasions are targeting Matabeleland. The invasions do not discriminate between white and black. Those who lead the invasions are from outside Matabeleland and most of them speak Shona. Those settled in those illegally occupied farms are from outside Matebeleland and the majority speak Shona. If this does not open people's eyes to reality nothing will. Hear, hear what they say, tribalism, tribalism, but what they do not realise is that this song is tired and does not mean anything anymore.
The illegal occupation of the Bulawayo City Council farm, the illegal occupation of Dr Dabengwa's farm and the illegal occupation of David Conolly's farm all bear hallmarks of the 1979 Shona Grand Plan.
When Dr Dabengwa's farm was illegally occupied, ZAPU and ZIPRA cadres descended in the farm and the occupiers quickly retreated. When the illegal invaders occupied Mr David Conolly's farm ZAPU and ZIPRA again descended in the farm defending the constitutional and property rights of Mr Conolly and his workers. The enemy seems to have dug in and not moving an inch.
The resolve of ZAPU and ZIPRA to defend the people's rights will see them succeed in repelling Mr Mugabe's Deputy Chief Secretary from Mr David Conolly's farm. We salute ZAPU for being on the side of the people. We salute ZAPU for defending people's rights. We salute ZAPU for being on the right side of history.
