Don't only fight Mugabe, fight the system

Been reading an article in which Job Sikhala says that he will be working with a Zanu-PF supposed faction said to be planning to "overthrow" Mugabe. I haven't been able to get the how of the "overthrowing" of it and really not so concerned about it.
My worry is the kind of agenda that we want our opposition to take. I have always been against making Zimbabweans believe that the ultimate solution to Zimbabwe's ills is the removal of Mugabe from Presidency. My belief is that our fight should be against the very system that keeps both Mugabe and Zanu-PF in power. This Mugabe must go only gospel is the one that leaves us with so many Zanu-like elements within the oppositions, people who leave Zanu-PF for the opposition only because they are no longer happy with Mugabe but still deep Zanu-elements in them.
If we want Mugabe out, then it must be out with both him and Zanu-PF and its system otherwise half done remains undone. So if we all rally behind that faction and it succeeds with its plan in the end we still remain with a Zanu-PF system and the same elements then what?
I really envy a more principled opposition stance not one that hopes to thrive on excitement and incitement. There is a country in need of serious rebuilding more than characters that need perpetual personal relevance and glory. Such characters remain a recipe for dictatorship and warlords who careless about the prosperity of the country but just them and their klin to retain power and thats what has brought this once great country to its knees.
