Let Zimbabweans define their destiny

The arrival of the two doyens of the American civil rights movement in the first quarter of 2013 on Zimbabwe's shores signaled the acceptance by the United States that the regime change agenda has failed in Zimbabwe. Andrew Young and Reverend Jesse Jackson are senior members of the black civil rights movement that fought a valiant battle that fought to secure black emancipation and recognition in the 1960s.
Arriving as emissaries of Barack Obama, their mission ostensibly was to 're-engage' President Robert Mugabe as the undisputed leader of Zimbabwe. They had realised that the game is up. The year 2013 is indeed the defining moment for the people of Zimbabwe who collectively are standing on the brink.
The electorate must seek to impose their will at the ballot box at any given election; they must vote wisely in the face of an enemy that is shrouded in multiple disguise to confuse the ordinary voter. At this moment in time to vote 'YES' for any other party than ZANU PF will be an insult to the memories of those fallen heroes. We can not fathom how any self-respecting black Zimbabwean can join forces with ex-Rhodesians and wicked neo-imperialists plotting against the future vision of economic prosperity that Zimbabwe has its sights.
It is now a blessing for the nation as the recent ZANU PF Politburo meeting endorsed the results for the Youths League as well as the Women's League. The election results were almost fuelling factionalism and threatening unity within the party. Now that the will of the people has been upheld we should work hard as Zimbabweans and utilize our resources for prosperity without outside interference.
We as Zimbabweans should shun away from the habit of inviting foreigners to come and mediate our problems but we have to resolve them among ourselves. It was very unfortunate that the MDC formations called for sanctions that have brought the whole country on its knees. The same members who called for sanctions are the ones who are suffering if not worse than ZANU PF members who have acquired land. It is like the revolution is now devouring its children.
As a new trajectory for economic growth and wealth creation we should embrace the government economic blue print Zim Asset for it is home grown. Remember foreign and donor funds come with strings attached.
