Minister blames black farmers of destroying Zim agriculture - the brainless noncompoop

11 Sep 2014 at 13:12hrs | Views
Minister Dzikamai Mavhaire accuses black farmers of letting the nation down.

"VaMugabe kuenda kunokumbira sadza kunyika dzakaita seMalawi, ivo vaMugabe vakati minda yose torai, taive tiri bread-basket tichitengesera dzimwe nyika isu asi vauraya nyika (Mugabe is now being forced to beg for food from neighbours. We were once the bread-basket of the region but these farmers have destroyed the agriculture sector)," Mavhaire told NewZimbabwe.com.

"Most resettled farmers are selling their maize to private companies so that it is brewed into Chibuku (a local beer brew). That makes Zimbabwe a country of drunkards and lazy people . . . and they are the first to come knocking on the government's doors during time of drought," continued Minister Mavhaire.
He wants the farmers to sell their produce to the government controlled Grain Marketing Board for a fraction of what the private companies pay beside which the GMB is notorious for paying late!

The truth is it is not the black farmers have let the nation down. It is you Minister and your fellow Zanu PF leaders who have let the nation down by being corrupt and murderous tyrants. You have brought the nation to ruin but have never accepted responsibility for anything preferring to blame others, more often than not the victims as in this case.

Black farmers were given land at the time when the national economic was going through its worse upheaval with inflation soaring to 100 trillion per cent, a critical shortage of everything from fuel, farming equipment, fertilizer, seed. The national economy has never really recovered. Most people have taken up farming not because they wanted to be farmers but out of desperation.

It was this Zanu PF government that has created the economic chaos making it impossible for hard working citizen to be successful as farmers, business person, doctors, engineer or anything. The only people who have thrived in Zimbabwe are those who are corrupt or have the right political connection to giving them access to free money and resources.

You, Minister Mavhaire, who elected you last year? It was not the people of Zimbabwe because we both know that those elections were rigged!

After all the years you have been in high office, what have you ever accomplished beside being part and parcel of this political monster call Zanu PF that has ridden rough shod over the nation's dreams of freedom, liberty, human rights and human dignity and a fair share of the nation's great abundance. How dare you stand there now accusing those you have crashed into the dust of being lazy? How dare you brainless nincompoop!

If this country is ever going to get out of this mess then we, the people, will have to take the business of having a meaningful say in who governs the country with the seriousness and urgency the matter demands. People like Dzikamai Mavhaire, Robert Mugabe and the rest of the Zanu PF dictatorship have brought this country to its knees and forced millions of us into a life of abject poverty and despair; the tragic reality is that they will never ever admit they have failed much less give up power.

Minister Simon Khaya Moyo was boosting a few weeks ago that Zanu PF will rule until "donkeys grow horns"! If the people of Zimbabwe are waiting for the day these Zanu PF thugs will step up and admit they have failed then we will have to wait for donkeys to grow horns first.

After 34 years of this tyrannical Zanu PF dictatorship there is no doubt that the nations has had numerous opportunities to end the regime's reign of corruption and terror but has never seized on them. People get the government they deserve and, whether we care to admit it or not, we deserve this Zanu PF dictatorship.

It is not in the DNA for tyrannical regime to give up power regardless how much they have failed; after all they always get to play the bad wolf trump card, he gets to blame the sheep drinking downstream from him of fouling his drinking water.
