Chamisa 'Not on my watch'

30 Sep 2014 at 21:00hrs | Views

SG Nelson Chamisa must help the party to Ditch its Odd obsessions. It is a fact; this party is seriously suffering from a hemorrhage of key players to the Renewal Team.

It would be irrational and irresponsible for Chamisa to allow Morgan Tsvangirai, the fantasist who thinks the people of Zimbabwe owes him something to continue in service and sacrifice for himself not others or the country. Looking forward to next election, there is no doubt that a lot would have changed.

One thing we are quite sure about is we are not going to see a Morgan Tsvangirai presidency but a lot of change under SG Chamisa. It is also irrational and pointless for Chamisa to stand by as the while his boss continues with his fantasy when it comes to possible outcomes of 2018 elections.

The new SG is smart enough to see that the Renewal team is good at identifying things and grievances that make people think. The Renewal Team is continuously empathising with the people.

Meanwhile his fantasy party don't have any answers to any single one of the challenges. Chamisa is aware that his party need to change direction and be so careful not to play populist politics.

The new SG is aware that there is a big lack of confidence in the party leadership, fuelled in part by the scandals over corruption and women. He is also aware that there is so much trouble in the party which is seriously damaging to the Party and is taking people to the Renewal Team.

Because the new SG is ware that ultimately the voters will more than likely   move towards supporting a party that provides possibilities of good governance, informed common sense solutions to problems, a party that appears broad minded and respective to new ideas, views and is willing to be pragmatic and renewal in character - all of which are great strengths of the Renewal Team. The new SG should above all stay strong, clever and concentrate on changing direction.

Fantasy leadership and parties will never get elected. His first 100 day as SG must also focus on developing a good message to put out at the next election.

It's quite apparent to the new SG that MDC T is going to have to reform and change quickly if it is to remain relevant. Also winning the hearts and a mind of other leaders is not a bad start. This will ensure joint working with others particularly in doing some abracadabra about the economy and reduce mass unemployment. The new SG is also aware that his boss is a very dangerous politician and seriously dysfunctional.

He is a prisoner of emotions and absolute irrationality. He seems to think the rest of the electorate owes him something. He is simply leading the party to the fantasy land, and this will not happen under the watch of SG Chamisa.
