Exposure of Ignorance by VP Aspirants

03 Oct 2014 at 08:34hrs | Views
It is no secret that Comrade Cephas Msipa defected from ZAPU to join ZANU long back. There is nothing senoir about him. He is therefore not authorised to speak or to chair former ZAPU meetings let alone to propose a candidade from former ZAPU to be Vice President.

The position of Vice President is that of Joshua Nkomo whom Msipa defected from. Therefore for Khaya Moyo and other VP aspirants including Khutshwekhaya, to sit in a meeting chaired by Comrade Msipa to endorse anyone of them for the position of VP, is an exposure of ignorence on their part.

Imagine Joshua Nkomo seeking an endorsement from Msipa to be Vice President. If Khaya Moyo and Khutshwekhaya do not understand whom they represent, they should not waste peoples time, because they seem not to know the source of the power of the post they are aspiring for, showing clear signs of desperation.

The President of ZANU PF, Comrade Mugabe has said that all positions in the party are for a grab including that of President during the elective congress in December. However the President has been nominated unopposed. But Comrade Msipa continues running his own congress endorsing Khaya Moyo, and Khaya Moyo seems to take Msipa's secret congresses serious. Being another exposure of desparation on his part or Moyo is scared also of going to the people.

The President's name was proposed by the Youth and the Women Conferences.

Other positions that have been secured include positions for the women and youth leagues.  Other wise the rest, please stop these secret congresses and go back to the people for a fresh mandate.
