Dr Simba Makoni Leave Dr Grace Mugabe Alone

Dr Grace Mugabe is a natural pick by the people for the people of Zimbabwe. In that vein, there is nothing sinister about her going around meeting the people who chose her to lead them. If she had not done that certainly something was wrong because it reflects lack of respect for the people who nominated her to lead them.
Dr Makoni, how come you appear as if you are a political novice? The 8 Ministers that you named to be getting along with her on the country wide tours are also ZANU-PF political cadres who double as Government Ministers too. On the tours they were not Government Ministers, but ZANU-PF members getting along in solidarity with a fellow party colleague who is taking up one of the most influential post in the party.
The most critical person in the Ministry, Dr Makoni as you know as a former Minister in our Government, is the Permanent Secretary and his Directors who cater for the day to day functions of the ministry's mandate. Ministers are mere political figures who come and go. So your worry as to who was doing business in the ministries during the tours has less validity in terms of actual business.
Dr Mugabe sounded some critical issues which we cherish as a country. She lambasted underperforming ministers and senior Government officials as having no place in our country. Surely we support her stance as it certainly creates a difference to our situation.
Dr Makoni you seem to be alarmed because you fall under the same category of the rot. We are still aware of the fact that you left service with SADC under tainted circumstances when you were involved in the $ 25000 scam. You were supposed to be arrested for that, but your back was covered. And now Dr Mugabe is saying such fraudulent people like you should be dealt with expeditiously to ensure a better Zimbabwe.
Dr Makoni, are you not impressed by the amazing revelations that exposed national saboteurs? Shame the devil and create a better Zimbabwe.
It is imperative that we should take note of the most essential role played by the First Lady in advising the President on running the state for the good of all citizens.
But Dr Makoni why are you silent on the grand-corruption engulfing our society peddled by rotten official in this country? There are better things to talk about than to blame sources of national hope like Amai Grace Mugabe. I urge you to invest your energy elsewhere than this blame syndrome which seems to rule you. This would take-away the remaining part of the respect that you used to command from Zimbabweans.
Interestingly, you just heaped blames on Amai Grace Mugabe without giving alternatives which would rescue Zimbabwe's declining economy from this predicament which is bedeviling us at the moment. The only way you can regain public relevance is by suggesting or championing alternative public policy which can re-align national interest for the good of all citizens. Or you will continue to crumble like a deck of cards with this in-formidable Mawambo/Dawn/Kusile project which has never proved its worth so far to the most ordinary citizen.
All of us are waiting anxiously for Zimbabwe to be "working again" like you have promised us since the inception of your project. Dr Makoni I feel sorry for your lack of direction and appreciation of the political variables in this country. I urge you to join hands with progressive minds like Dr Mugabe so that you transform Zimbabwe and make it a better place to live.
