Jabulani Sibanda a Senseless Rebel

06 Nov 2014 at 10:21hrs | Views

The actions and utterances of Jabulani Sibanda are the worst colours of rebellious behavior that he displayed in an outright defiance to the constitutional government. This at its worst could have amounted to subversion charges.

How can an ordinary citizen like Jabulani clamour for his insatiable desire to match to state house to confront a constitutionally elected Head of State? We respect the critical role played by the liberation war fighters. But when misguided elements like Jabulani take the law into their hands it becomes something else. Hats off to the judicious elders of the Zimbabwe War Veterans Association who firmly and expeditiously championed the timeous chopping-off of the embattled Jabulani.

This was a popular move which saved their image before he committed treason riding on their legacy and tainting their glittering war credentials. Such buffoons should be left in the wilderness where they are assured of crumbling like a deck of cards.

It is emerging to be crystal clear that Jabulani is an admirer of Morgan Tsvangirai, the MDC-T leaders, who in early 2000s organized a match to state house which he dubbed The Final Push.  This was meant to dislodge President Robert Mugabe unconstitutionally. His motivations, therefore, were ear-marked to achieve that foiled attempt by Tsvangirai.

I am cocksure that the true war veterans would never want to be associated with someone who does not hesitant to ridicule the President by speaking loudly about his bedroom affairs of all the issues. In our culture, talking about bedroom issues is taboo. Surely, where does Jabulani get this courage to mock President Robert Mugabe and his family with no regrets? Let alone associating national issues to the bedroom, the connection is really weird.

As if it was not enough he goes on to discredit a government ministry, that is, Ministry of Information, Media and Broadcasting Services. This is also a creation by the same head of state. What else is left for Jabulani to appreciate about the President? He also rubbishes the acumen of the Politburo!

Shame on this man who lost his pre-existing fame instantly due to his mental deficit which betrayed his judgment foolishly. He lacks elementary tenets of diplomacy. Maybe this is attributable to his little education and dubious war credentials. True revolutionaries remain with the original taste of loyalty and allegiance under the propulsion to serve the nation.

Stern measures should be taken against such recalcitrant citizens who sow the seed of ridicule, hatred and disrespect to our leaders lest we cultivate a bunch of rascals in our society.

I am not sure if Jabulani Sibanda is a drug addict that operates under the influence of intoxicating stuff.
Honestly his public utterances are synonymous with a psychopath whose brains are upside-down.

It's high time that ZANU-PF should do away with that type of misguided elements.
