Lovemore Madhuku a toothless bulldog

It is quite interesting for progressive and like minded Zimbabweans to think that a constitutional expert is fast loosing relevance. Lovemore Manduku, of the National Constitutional Assembly (NCA), has been thrown into political oblivion.
Madhuku first lost faith of his handful supporters when he refused to relinquish his chairmanship post after his term of office expired. This showed that the man is not a realist but the antitheses of realist. According to their constitution the man should have not continued hanging on to power. The button should be passed on to the next person, according to the NCA constitution.
Our learned friend, who purports to be democratic and a guru in constitutional law, has become confused and run out of political ideas. Surely how can a person of his caliber try to stop the swearing in of the two Vice Presidents who do not belong to his party or pressure group? This buffoon, of dubious political credentials, wants to get relevance after failing to gain prominence in the compilation of the new constitution.
Now the new constitution has been written and adopted; there is no more relevance for Madhuku and his few supporters, if they are there of which we doubt very much. I feel very sorry for the man of political misfortunes. We know that the man is power hungry like Morgan Tsvangirai. The MDC-T has rejected coalition with Madhuku because they know that he is power hungry and he has no support to add value to their party.
The National Constitutional Assembly is now broke as the donors are no longer giving funds to a non-functional and irrelevant organisation. It would be prudent for Madhuku to concentrate on lecturing and leave politics as he has failed to get political recognition. The man was barred from practicing as a lawyer as he misused trust funds. So how can we trust such a person as a politician. We want people with a clean record.
We should not be confused by political amateurs in the likes of Madhuku who are agents of political change. Instead we should concentrate on implementing our economic blue print Zim- Asset. Together we will build Zimbabwe and prosper.
