Several people have left South Africa travelling abroad into a diaspora where one despot has run to the East with the joy and celebrations of the people leaving the entire nation to scramble for the bread crumbs in direct completion with maggots, ants and cockroaches - President Tsvangirai, God is calling you for a special mission. In the diaspora the visitors to the former breadbasket noted a serious decline in the social and economic infrastructure and a general poverty level that is unrivalled, or in direct competition the other failed states though few would openly admit and accept the "failed" tag in the spirit of patriotism.

Dr. Munyaradzi Chidarikire, an academic and a leader in the MDC T party in South Africa visited his kindred in Rujeko suburb in Zimbabwe's mother city - Masvingo. Occasionally sandwiching his words with emotional sighs, he had no good words for the regime, "Mugabe has stolen Christmas and he is now enjoying it very far from the suffering masses. People here are suffering and even sending kids to schools next year looks a very improbable task. Our hope is that a miracle will happen in the east and we won't mind if he excuses us and calls it a day. Luckily we have Tsvangirai in the wings and history has shown that he can do an excellent job."
The mother of all surprises is what was awaiting Professor Mapendere the youthful gentleman domiciled in Capetown. Being in the diasporacountry now turned jungle of Mugabe's zoo left him not amused to say the least, "I wish Mugabe could see what the people are going through. Truly this is a man out of touch with reality." In concurrence was Dr. Tyanai Masiya another Capetonian who is currently abroad in the same jungle with his homeboy - "I had been in this country for almost a month now and I wish I can go back home to Capetown. Truly this life abroad is not enjoyable to say the least. May Tsvangirai take over so that one day I will enjoy coming to this part of the globe."

Pretorian Vimbabi Mavherudze, had been in Zimbabwe for almost two weeks and she equally castigated the insensitive nature of Mugabe's woman. "If Grace is a real woman, at least she must care. Families and children are going to bed hungry whilst she is spending millions of dollars in exotic restaurants in Asia. What a beast of a person we have as a first lady? Rise the Tsvangirais and save Zimbabwe from this curse." IT specialist Munyaradzi Ncube had the shock of his life when he visited Mberengwa in the Midlands. In a state of bewilderment, he tried to describe the sorry state of roads in his home area, " I do not know whether I am dreaming or not but this is not what I know. The government has neglected and deserted the people. WE are a forgotten people, nomore roads - nothing to talk of anymore. May Tsvangirai takeover for the good of mankind. Mugabe has monopolized Christmas - what a selfish nonagenarian."

Mentioning the fear of political prosecution was Tangai Marufu and Sox Chikowore among others. Finding no reason to visit the ruins and its economic debris was Albert Zinhanga and Bongani Mathe. Postponed travelling plans were Precious Mutete and Emmanuel Banda.

A general survey indicated a depressed people with no hope for an improved economic outlook in the near future. Undoubtedly is the belief that only a change in the governance culture will usher in a new beginning with Tsvangirai at the helm.
