MDC-T politics now history

06 Jan 2015 at 13:31hrs | Views
The most dramatic event in the political arena has been the total collapse of MDC-T. The notion that MDC-T is once again on the begging spree tells it all that this party is no longer active in the political forum.

I could not hold my laughter, when I read in one of the local press that the MDC-T is once again engaged on frantic begging. In the press, it was noted that there was an advertisement which requested all MDC-T members to donate $1 through an ecocash account number.

I also giggled when I read in the newspaper one of the statements that appeared on the advertisement that reads, "By sending just $1 to the EcoCash account number above, always remember you are taking part in a journey to real change."

What change is this advertiser talking about? How can one change a nation through donations? MDC-T is indeed bankrupt of ideas. Tsvangirai and his cronies are broke hence nothing productive can come from them. Hence party members should resist such deceitful message.

If a leader of a party is surviving through handouts, will he be able to rein this country. For so long MDC-T has been making a living through donations from their western counterparts. These western donors decided to withdrew their assistance from Tsvangirai and allies after realizing that he was a failure in both politics and social wellbeing.

Recent reports have it that MDC-T has been failing to reward its employees for a long time. This also tells it all that the party is financially insolvent.

Surely, how on earth do party leaders request poor members to bankroll the party? If the party is failing to survive on its own, without digging into party members' pockets, then that party is dead.

Mr Tsvangirai, politics was then when you used to abuse state funds enjoying unnecessary foreign trips with mistresses. Honestly, you should applaud President Mugabe, who made you experience and enjoy life as a premier of this nation during the inclusive government.

MDC-T was on the forefront, calling for illegal economic sanctions against the nation. Unfortunately, the impact of the illegal sanctions hard hit everyone including the MDC-T.

On another hand, Harare city council which is headed by well known MDC-T sympathizers is busy condoling with their party leader through paving way for him to carry out political rallies in countries' stadiums for free. I feel pity for such a shoddy decision that was made. These stadiums should be benefitting citizens through different activities hence they need to be refurbished time and again to improve and maintain their status. Hence, funds that are paid by those who would want to utilize stadiums should assist in smartening up such stadia.

In a nutshell, MDC-T should stop hoodwinking its members in making efforts to regain prominence in the political world.
