An Alternative Approach to Zimbabwe Political Impasse
12 Mar 2015 at 19:29hrs | Views
A twin strategy, simple, applicable as proffered for part answers to a government who has abused the army, secret intelligence unit and the police force to vilify its long stay in power and violently forced the ordinary people into surrender.
The middle class has emerged the most unreliable group to undermine struggle for freedom since they oil corruption by being used to ‘kill' an idea of opposition as toothless. The way forward is for international community using its legitimate rights of protecting the defenseless, hungry and landless sacrificed by Zanu has to help open the way for people to be reassured they will not be sacrificed again.
A way to do away with this obsession that force of violence should always be applied to attain something need be removed out of the thirty-five years people reluctantly watched Zanu run the economy down.
Naturally the British have a role to play and to approach the world under the auspices of United Nations.
Zimbabweans abroad need help summon common sense to reassure others back home that corruption cannot and has not been a proven way to build a country and people. Corruption exists anywhere but it cannot be blessed by a government authority as is the case openly in Zimbabwe.
The British have to be finally approached so they can work on transition together with professional Zimbabweans to have clean politicians emerge or even old ones are under scrutiny to fail to pass the mark.
If people will express their freedom and managed properly, with a transparent judiciary and open voice Parliament from a clean election, Zimbabwe can retain her position in the world again. That we have minerals need not have behaved as though Zimbabwe ends with the departure of President Robert Mugabe through natural wastage.
Zimbabwe is for our children and grandchildren for as long as earth exists. Let us establish an accountable government not be run by a group that does not respect rule of law and use everything to their personal advantage.
The fight in Zanu today is a clear signal that corruption cannot sustain the running of a government. The patching approaching to government must cease and transparency and accountability be invoked to take full control over poor governance in the country.
Soldiers have to accept that time is up when actual cause for the liberation struggle ought to be done properly. Fair and accountable ways of distributing services and wealth created by the industry and government revenue-good governance- to bring freedom and access to land and creation of jobs.
Discipline has fallen away in the country of Zimbabwe. The home affairs ministry and that of justice have a long way to improve the same to be efficient, and effective restoring people's confidence in the country's social justice system again. The letter below has already been sent for the British Premier attention. It is a possible alternative to watching Zimbabwe deteriorate decade after decade.

Why is the British Government not responding to the call by the Zimbabweans in Diaspora?
1. To call for a world supervised elections on Zimbabwe due to failures of Zanu to govern the country?
2. To enforce a transition of ten months in order to prepare for elections. Zanu government should retire and if intransigent a referendum world supervised, can decide the fate of the future.
3. The British government traditionally has a role to help restore law and order. Zanu is openly presenting a front of law and order while clandestinely and militarily Zanu Cabal holds the nation at ransom. Zanu has put extensive fear in people through abuse and torture.
4. The British government and the U N ought to neutralize the venom of Zanu on freedom of Zimbabweans in Zimbabwe to talk, think and express opinion openly. Clandestine night visits and beating of the public from Zanu hooligans need stop.
5. The country is under siege from Zanu Cabal through physical force, blackmail and corruption.
6. Taking up arms to force regime change need not be done. Reduce potential for armed struggle conflict.

It is only fair to instruct cautiously the rough ridden minds of Zimbabweans by a party that offers nothing but violence and the: ‘I am trained to kill' kind of outlook from Zanu government officials. Below is that attempt. It will take time to undo Zanu propaganda on the fact that even our failures must be blamed on the west. When we shall account for our failures is a puzzle beyond modern day solution.
"OPEN COMMUNICATION: ZIMBABWEANS Appendix (b) is here.
It is true that 1980 took us by pleasant surprise that we were unyoked from the dilemma of a ten year's old armed struggle. We were so happy and everybody came home to take up responsibility of building a new Zimbabwe.
Questions on who was running government started being debated but stopped in 2000 when a referendum was done which threw Zanu off because people wanted change of government. Intensity in beating and abduction of persons and torture became a daily event then in Zimbabwe. To this date the conditions have gotten worst.
The country has since then lived under control of the army Cabal comprising the secret service, military top officials, police hierarchy, prison service officials and selected ordinary citizens. A no win electoral process has been set in the country. Short of disbanding it the country cannot be released from the clutches of Zanu cheating and abuse of the masses.
We have to help bring the process with quick answers to the country's condition. We have to organize to resist poor management of the country coupled with extreme theft of the country wealth by few individuals. It needs discipline and conviction to withstand regimes that are callous. The soldiers are our brothers and sisters. No violence is needed but being of one mind countrywide is overwhelming.
No need to fight each other or the regime because the regime has equipment of mass destruction that people do not have. People have their mind, words and voices. Organizing is a commitment from conviction. The struggle for freedom has to be achieved. It was started but not finished. Let us finish it.
Time is significant. 2015 is the year when sleepless thinking and commitment has to be generated, implemented and achieved. Power is in the people when they realize their limits. Limits are only temporary boundaries. Over to you then masses of Zimbabwe."
There are times when to help each other we need point out weaknesses in ourselves. We have been trained in working against each other for the benefit of the rulers. We need fight that mentality. Impression is being built that President Mugabe is a small ‘god' in Zimbabwe. It is not true.
Zimbabwe belongs to every Zimbabweans provided we master democracy. We need not sacrifice freedom for the benefit of one or two people. Leaving one person cheat the rest using our resources is a national crime.
Now we are witnessing people abduction beginning again. It's threatening to peace and freedom to speak against injustice in the country. Rise up and condemn acts of terrorism on the people by a government that is failing.
