MDC MPs are incompetent who cares that 21 or all are recalled

18 Mar 2015 at 20:01hrs | Views
The Speaker of Parliament, Jacob Mudenda, has acted on MDC-T's request to have all the MDC-renewal MPs and senator recalled because they had "crossed the floor".

"It is a political decision because there has not been a change in circumstances since the Speaker ruled that he could not interfere in the MDC-T's leadership dispute. The matter has not been resolved," responded Tendai Biti, the ringleader of the MDC-renewal.

If the truth be told, and it must be told and will be told, the circumstances have changed very significantly since April 2014 when Tendai Biti and others, now the MDC-renewal group cum UMDC, severed ties with Tsvangirai and others, now calling themselves MDC-T. When the latter group asked the former to be recalled, the Speaker was right to defer the recall until the Courts have decided which group constituted the legal MDC-T party since both groups claimed to be the real MDC-T.

Tendai Biti group has since adopted a new name, changed its colours, formed new structures, etc. and thus evolving into a total different party from MDC-T. The only reason why the group has pointed refused to be formally registered as a new political party is because the individual members did not want to be recalled. Of course the Speaker would be failing in his duties not to see the sinister ploy and defer the recall any longer.

Tendai Biti said the recall will be challenge, but failed to give more details.
Yes of course, Tendai Biti can challenge the decision but this would be nothing more than the frantic displays of the hen cursing and chasing after the eagle that snatched her chick. The hen can witter all day about how she would teach the eagle a lesson if she could fly; since she cannot she will never teach the eagle a lesson so why talk about!

The recall has achieved something positive, if this time Biti is to be believed; it has galvanized his group into action.

"This decision will be challenged, of course, but all in all it provides us with renewed vigour as well as strength to fight for the democratization of our country," continued Tendai Biti.

"To remove the system called Zanu PF and its latest sidekick in the form of Morgan Tsvangirai who has shown Zimbabweans.
"We will fight tooth and nail to remove this system of repression and oppression that has poisoned our country and left citizens living in squalor in the land of their forefathers. We will not tire."

Is this the boosting mother hen in you, Mr Biti, wittering again! Because so far you have shown that you have neither the vigour nor strength to fight for the democratization of Zimbabwe.  You were a senior member the MDC-T "sidekick" that failed to get even one reform implemented in the five years of the GNU. Instead of implementing the democratic reforms everyone had agreed were necessary to end the Zanu PF dictatorship you, Mr Biti - Yes you Tendai Biti - joined the other MDC leaders in singing Mugabe's praise, calling the tyrant the "unflappable father of the nation".

You failed to get even one reform implemented not because you did not have the teeth and nails to fight with or were tired; you failed because you are corrupt and breathtakingly incompetent.

Yes Morgan Tsvangirai should have relinquished the leadership of the MDC-T after the party's pathetic performance in the July 2013 national elections. But why single him out; you too and all the other MDC leaders too should have all resigned because all of you have proven beyond all that you are corrupt and incompetent.

You keep wittering about removing Mugabe and the Zanu PF dictatorship but have never said how you will do that. During the GNU you had the plan laid out for you - implement the raft of democratic reforms. You failed to work the plan even in the face of repeated calls from SADC and others for you to follow "the roadmap".

Mr Biti, you and your fellow MDC-renewal friends broke away from Tsvangirai because you finally realised that he just too corrupt and incompetent to end Zanu PF's dominance. And so if you wanted your old cushy GNU jobs back you had to remove him from the leadership position or else form your own political party. But what you failed to acknowledge was that you too are corrupt and incompetent and will never deliver any democratic changes.

You have never said how you are going to remove Mugabe and Zanu PF because you do not have a plan. If you failed to remove the tyrant when you had the GPA plan drawn up for you what chance is there you will remove the tyrant when you do not even have plan!

If the truth be told, and it must be told and it will be told, Mr Tendai Biti you are worse than mother hen; whilst she accepted that would teach the eagle a lesson IF she could fly, you keep wittering about removing Mugabe when you are so incompetent you failed to realise you need a plan – so, so breathtakingly incompetent that you failed to work the plan even when someone gave you one!

MDC failed to delivery any meaningful democratic changes in Zimbabwe during the GNU when they had majority in parliament and cabinet because they are a corrupt and incompetent lot. After the rigged July 2013 elections MDC were reduced to a tiny minority but, worst of all, still as corrupt and incompetent as ever. The recall of the MDC-renewal MPs and senator has reduced the MDC head count but what of it!

What matters is the MDC leaders are incompetent, the fact that they number has dropped by 21 is academic. If you know the milk is contaminated with raw sewage who cares if the glass is full or half full! Indeed if the remaining MDC-T MPs and senators were removed from parliament it would help concentrate the people's minds in the fight to get all the democratic reforms implemented because the people will know they have to fight the good fight themselves and not count of useless and incompetent MDC politicians.
