Tsvangirai is desperately seeking to regain lost mojo

According to Morgan Tsvangirai's spokesperson, Luke Tamborinyoka, the embattled MDC-T leader is set to hold a series of rallies in most cities across the country this month.

I giggled and giggled when I read an article in one of the local dailies where Tamborinyoka said that his boss will address jobless people around the country. Honestly, what can a man who is failing to put his house in order say to a gathering? Was it not him, Tsvangirai, who connived with the westerners to destabilize the country's economy? Tsvangirai thought that the effects of illegal sanctions that he called for were going to affect government and the ruling party alone. Unfortunately, everyone is found between a hard rock and a stone, including his own MDC-T.

Following that, I see no concrete reasons for Mr Tsvangirai has to waste his time by touring local cities when he is morally bankrupt.

The embattled MDC-T leader has, for the past 16 years, been campaigning, or is it struggling, to become the president of the republic of Zimbabwe. To accomplish his journey, the man is left without any choice, but to be involved in all the activities that he thinks would help him to become the head of state. It is only two months ago when Tsvangirai visited the people of Gweru, where he was booed by vendors; the truth being that people are quite cognizant that this man is helpless in their day to day lives.

I was almost shocked when Tamborinyoka alleged that the government is being led by a team of liars who instead of creating 2.2 million jobs, as they promised, have put the same number of people on the street. Firstly, Tamborinyoka must be reminded that ZANU-PF promised jobs to its followers who voted for it not MDC-T members.

It also took me by surprise when I heard that Mr Morgan was going to Bulawayo to pacify his supporters who are protesting against his foolish decision of boycotting the coming by-elections. Tsvangirai thought that he was brave enough by prohibiting his members from participating in the coming by-elections. Honestly, that was a big paradigm shift towards democracy. There isn't any democracy as suggested by your party name, Movement for Democratic Change?
Who then will you pacify when you failed to control your party members who were insulting your deputy president, Madam Thokozani Khupe in a meeting?

Surely, it boggles the mind when you hear Tsvangirai saying he will lead this nation. It's true when they say charity begins at home. The MDC-T leader must cleanse all the dirty and cheap politics that he and his cronies are practicing, that is if their master still has ambitions to lead this nation.

As the struggle to become the state President continues, Tsvangirai should wake up and smell the coffee. Mr Morgan will risk losing his few supporters if he continues to deprive them of their democratic rights. In Shona they say, "Chawawana batisisa mudzimu haupe kaviri". As it stands, Tsvangirai destroyed the entire democracy in his party as he is happily enjoying dictating what to be done and what ought not to be done. Honestly democracy is long dead in this party. Perhaps Morgan Tsvangirai should consider renaming his party Movement for Dictatorial Change.
