Zanu-PF manufactures fictitious ZAPU characters
29 May 2015 at 07:58hrs | Views
I have spoken to almost all the ZAPU Youth Front leaders in SA who attended the National Youth Front Elective Conference on the 2nd and 3rd May 2015 in Bulawayo. A number of them expressed their displeasure about certain procedures used by the Council of Elders; however, they all denied that they gave any information to a Mr Thabani Dube, who wrote an article alleging that a disgruntled member of the Youth Front based in SA denounced Dr Dumiso Dabengwa.
It does take a rocket scientist to decipher why Zanu-PF is resorting to dirty tactics; Dr Dumiso Dabengwa of late has been on the ground talking to the canvassing for their votes for the ZAPU parliamentary candidates. Zanu-PF is afraid of what it has seen on the ground. ZANU is surprised that ZAPU still has so much support in Bulawayo. If I were the evil Zanu-PF which never plays within rules of the game I would do the same, but then we know ZAPU of its principled stand on issues. Where Zanu-PF sets properties on fire ZAPU extinguishes it, where Zanu-PF beats people into submission, ZAPU nurses them until they regain their strength.
All the accusations against Dabengwa do not deserve to be dignified by any kind of response, DD is known for his rectitude character, manufacturing lies against him will not tarnish his name. What ZANU should be doing right now is to get the country to get back on its feet but it is busy trying to besmirch the good name of Dr Dabengwa.
ZAPU Youth Leaders are fully behind Dr Dabengwa and his entire leadership. Dogs never bark at a dog carcass, once you see them bark you should know that the beast is alive. The Zanu-PF dogs are barking for a reason, initially they tried to ignore ZAPU hoping that it was going to fizzle away. Joshua Nkomo said 'it is dangerous to attempt to whip a party as big as ZAPU into submission'. ZAPU cannot just die like that and Zanu-PF has quickly realised that. Mr Thabani Dube's article is not the first of its kind, they are too many mention.
ZAPU is here to stay, ZAPU is here to revive the economy, ZAPU is here to restore people's lost freedoms, and ZAPU is here to remove ZAPU from power. ZAPU is in the business of regime change.
